SecureRx is a print management software designed to help healthcare organizations and ambulatory facilities create and securely print medical prescriptions in compliance with the state and federal regulations. Administrators can add corporate logos, images, or anti-alteration watermarks in documents, apply authentication codes, and serialize prescriptions for auditing purposes.
The PrintTrace functionality provides hospitals with a forensic audit trail to track the origination date and location of prescriptions. Using SecureRx’s branded AuthPortal, pharmacists can quickly scan and verify prescription details, mark them as filled, and send real-time order acknowledgment notifications to providers. It also lets managers track and monitor the activity status of available printers on a centralized dashboard.
SecureRx offers an API, which enables businesses to integrate the platform with various third-party EMR applications, such as eClinicalWorks, Epic, MEDITECH, Allscripts, and more. The software also helps users generate audit reports and add microprints in documents to verify the authenticity of prescriptions.
