SimplePractice helped me start my private practice by doing most of the business work for me by having it all prepared and ready to use.
The ease of use. I liked that all of the forms I needed for intakes, etc., were all ready for use.
Sometimes can seem difficult to find what I’m looking for, like how to enable online booking.

I had problems with claims being denied by one insurance company, and the customer support provided by Simple Practice solved the problem. It was a great relief.
I almost didn't purchase this because I am at the very end of a long career, and only see clients 1 1/2 days a week now. The claim process has become such a problem, that I didn't want to do any of it by hand anymore. This program makes everything automatic and very easy once the ins/outs are learned.
A little cumbersome to learn, but that is true of almost all software. It is much easier than the software used by large mental health organizations.

Over all great product
The software was easy to use, did not take long to figure it out.
Difficulty getting a blank ROI after one was already signed by a client.

It's very easy to navigate, I had another software and this feels much more intuitive and well designed.
When sorting clients, I like to view them alphabetically by first name. I am able to do this, however, if I leave the page, when I return, it goes back to sorting them by last name.

I'm a bit spooked by the comments in my FB group practice forum. A lot of people preferred Theranest and Theranotes. So I'm hoping the issues brought up in that group are being addressed by SP

I feel it is too soon to make a fair judgment just yet as I am picking it up slowly.
It provides instructions for each area that I use. I think, so far, I love the calendar the best. My clients are grateful as well.
I am still learning. So far, I have not discovered a step-by-step process.

So far so good. It was highly recommended by colleagues of mine
Accounting and the ability to bill clients without having to chase them. Customer support ahs eben very helpful and responsive.
Take some time to figure out...but that is not the program's fault. There are just a lot of options to learn.

Our overall experience has exceeded expectations. We are thrilled to be able to streamline our EMR, introduce our clients to the portal system, and to access information via the web and through a phone app. Our only disappointment is that we didn't switch sooner!
The client portal system is excellent. We had been working with our previous software system to set up client portal, and we were running into roadblocks. SimplePractice has set up a system that is easy to use for both clinicians and clients.
There is a little workaround that is needed when the same client is seen by multiple therapists (e.g. someone has an individual therapist as well as a couples therapist) since the portal is set up by a unique email address.

This tool is going to help me manage the back office for my practice so I can focus on my clients.
I am a novice with SimplePractice, and I have been most impressed by the range and depth of the tutorials. I am also pleased by the variety of form templates and the ease of updating templates for common forms.
So far I've not encountered any negatives.

I love that clients can self schedule, and that there isn’t an auto pay feature. And the money gets transferred almost right away into my account.
I would like if the self scheduler was in a different format: either week by week or monthly.

So far my staff love it. It’s a higher cost for billing but so many other advantages seem to make it worth it!

The layout is intuitive & looks like it was designed by therapists who actually run a practice.
I am just starting with it, so we will see if it has short-comings, but so far, it looks really good. I am interested in seeing how smoothly the data import transition will go. It will mean training my staff on a new system, but I think the learning curve will be much shorter than on other systems I've used.

I like being able to add documents to the client portal to send out. I was able to create my own and edit existing documents with ease.
I have been confused by the invoices and marking them as paid because sometimes a duplicate invoice was created unintentionally.

It has kept me organized and on top of my administrative responsibilities.
It is relatively easy to learn. I am able to stay organized with reminders of things I still need to do.
I cannot directly contact tech support by phone. I cannot get a text or email confirmation for my appointment reminders.

So far I've really enjoyed the online scheduling and downloadable paperwork for clients. I love being able to manage my account from my phone.
I would've liked to be able to upload my intake forms inst ad if having to enter them question by question.

I have found the program to be very intuitive so far and look forward to using it more (I just subscribed this week).
There is something intuitive about it, and the app is helpful, too. I find that I am not needlessly clicking and it is visually easy to use.
Not sure. I was a little disappointed that there was not a way to reach someone by phone for customer service.
