What is Teladoc Health?
Teladoc provides an online platform for medical professionals including physicians, registered dietitians, dermatologists, and behavioral health specialists such as therapists, psychologists, and psychiatrists to connect with patients via phone or video call, without the need for in-person visits. Patients can receive medical attention and be prescribed medications without going to the doctors' office.
With Teladoc, patients can schedule a call with a doctor, complete a medical history form, and speak with a board-certified doctor through voice or video on their cellphone. Native apps for iOS and Android allow patients to set up a virtual visit for themselves or their family members at any time. Doctors can prescribe a range of medications through Teladoc, excepting controlled substances, non-therapeutic drugs, and other medicines with potential for abuse, and prescriptions can be electronically delivered to patients' local pharmacies.

According to Teladoc’s policy, patients can send a follow-up message to their doctor within seven days, including additional questions or photos. When I tried to do this, the platform only allowed me to upload one photo, even though the initial submission had accepted multiple.
