EHR use for my practice.
This EMR had many pros. Here I will list them: Simple and intuitve interface speed web based Pdf export
The inability to use procedure codes, but that's not a real con because it was the free version. Other than that I did not experience a con.

Second worse EHR platform I’ve ever used. Will NEVER recommend!! This is a close first-worse with Epic EHR.
1. HIPPA compliant. 2. When their system is not crashing or updating, notation is good for the most part. 3. I like being able to schedule patient’s from my phone app.
1. Customer and tech support are 0 help! Basically tell you all the things a person with 100 IQ would have tried and when that doesn’t work they tell you ‘Well, tough turds, thanks for your money. BYE!’ 2. The frequent system crashes, updates that don’t allow you to use the notation platform for several hours at a time. Several times I have been writing a very long and detailed chart note and will click ‘View Chart Note’ and get an error code and nothing was saved. 3. The navigation is very slow so I don’t know whether they are running updates or the server is just slow.

I only used Dr. Chrono one time because it was too confusing for the class to use and we weren't assigned anymore work in it. Kind of a waste of money.
The software did familiarize me with the EHR and was very helpful. I liked that I could see what an EHR looked like and how to use it.
The two screens were a little confusing and very time consuming. I had my instructor help me and it took us a long time to complete.

I like that it is combined ehr, notes, and scheduling. Most ehr does not offer scheduling and it is nice to have it be streamlined all into one program.
i Feel like it is pretty expensive. Especially when you are looking to expand a practice and add other practitioners on to the program, it gets very spendy.

DrChrono is by far the easiest EHR that I have ever used. I've worked in emergency medical, surgery, industrial, aesthetics and primary care. By far this EHR is the easiest to use and customize.
Unable to set time in which the EHR is accessible by non provider staff. Would be great be able to set times in which I could set ancillary staff could use the EHR. Being that one could down load the app to the mobile device. Unable to set security settings that would prevent staff from accessing the EHR via their mobile device does patients personal information at risk.

I worked at a startup building medical devices and we wanted to integrate EHR vendors into our product. It was really to integrate DrChrono into our supported EHR vendors. Compared to Allscripts and Athena Health, DrChrono was a breeze to use. The API was well documented and it only took a day's work to integrate.
Compared to other EHR vendors, DrChrono stores less information about patients, doctors, and facilities.

Easy to use. Reduces time to transition to new EHR
A very easy to use, all-inclusive system. Easiest billing system imaginable. Excellent functionality on all Apple products. Very good functionality on PC via Google Chrome. Intuitive flow. Easy to take clinical photos with iPhone or iPad. Simple form builder/template builder tools do not require advanced computer knowledge to customize every option one might need.
only drawback--no immediate phone number for support. Start all troubleshooting via email. But tickets are usually resolved promptly.

ease of charting with apple products. I can use my ipad as easily as I can use my laptop. The form builder with macros help save time charting.
As a start up, I would be nice to pay less per month for use of EHR and Revenue cycle management. I try to keep costs at a minimum so it would be nice if EHR was more affordable.

I like the simplicity of the EHR and the ability to access it from a tablet or phone. It was easy getting everyone in the office caught on the the EHR which I thought would be quite a task.
I don't like that controlled substances cannot be prescribed, being told this from the beginning or seeing if there were alternatives would've been helpful. Also the difficulty of sending lab or imaging orders to any company not affiliated with Health Gorilla is inconvenient. The first person that helped me establish the EMR and that gave me my first training was extremely helpful. The next lady that was in charge of our training was pretty difficult to contact, it got to the point that her voicemail box was full.

It is simple but fast and effective. There are plenty of webinars to show you firsthand how to use this website and the tabs are self explanatory.

Reasonably priced, lots of functions, works much better than our previous EHR Soapware, quick support response by email
Layout not always intuitive, and often has to click in and out of several screens to get to where you want to go

drchrono EHR provides much of the functionality that providers need in order to complete their clinical workflows
this software is generally well-built, but could be more useful if it had wider market penetration. The future of EHRs is interoperability and drchrono EHR is in an optimal position to expand if it integrates seamlessly.

we are really happy with Dr Chrono; our support team is responsive and always ready to help. easy communication and transfer of information.
it is very easy to use and learn; support is responsive and helpful; can tailor to our needs; easy to send and receive information with other offices and patients
requested changes should be made faster; import from previous EHR was not as inclusive as we would have liked

The cloud based EHR makes it so convenient. The app works really well for on the go. Very intuitive.
The template can be a little messy when you have patients that cancelled and they remain visible on the schedule.

I really like them, as they are attentive to my needs and are very thorough with their training.
I really like the ease of this EHR. I have worked with serval others, and this ones the easiest!
I offer several services in multiple rooms, and I would like to be able to select what services go to what room so when patients schedule online, they are scheduling into the correct room. This would help to reduce any overlapping with booking. I have contacted them about this, and they are looking into this.

Overall big letdown. After a couple weeks I new we were not going to switch to drchrono EHR. I was assured they would not hold me to the contract if we did not like it and of course we are stuck paying a year of service we will never use.
Cloud based. TriZetto - that is probably the best thing we found from our thought of switching to this EHR
Notes customization limited from the EHR I was coming from. The trainer we had seemed to have no medical/chiropractic experience. We are a chiropractic and she definitely had no clue about notes for chiro office. When asked how to note outcome assessment - she asked what that meant and said she would get back to me. Her manager sent me a link to a 3rd party app to purchase.
Hello Dr. Peace, We would like to express our sincerest apologies for your experience during your implementation. We want you to know that we’re actively improving our implementation workflows to be sure that communication is clear and we are able to address all concerns from our chiropractors. Upon investigation of our communication with you, it looks like a simple miscommunication of what information...

It is customizable and facilitate to communicate with patients.
DrChromo has a good payment plan compared to other similar EHR which helps to save money. It keeps improving its functionality.
It requires a lot of training to get used to and customer support is slow when you are new and struggling to get familiar with it.

This software is a complete package of several programs integrated into one. Allows the user to bill, chart note and schedule all in the same program.
This software if very expensive and to date, does not seem to be significantly different than any other ehr we've looked into.

We have enjoyed every bit of our transition to DrChrono from a server based EHR. They have been accommodating, thorough and incredibly kind as our team of 30 learns a whole new way. We are big fans of drchrono EHR and the whole drchrono team!
Cloud based; awesome support team and thorough onboarding; comprehensive reporting; intuitive interface; fast workflow for intake and documentation; comprehensive revenue cycle management; credentialing support for new MD's
Still some visibility challenges in the schedule that could be improved; simplified navigation to patient ledgers would help workflow; would like the ability to integrate docusign type elements

The sales associate, Danny, was very informative and detailed about the software; what info on the system he provided has been accurate to date. Charla, our implementation manager, has been responsive and patient. Clearly her goal is to get DrChrono implemented effortlessly for us and in a timely fashion; we appreciate having that level of support.
* DrChrono is an Apple Enterprise partner * user friendly for patient and provider * comprehensive pricing, not ala carte' * real time EHR, cloud based
* as to be expected, creating customized templates is time-consuming, however the implementation process is itself is relative quick * IT support is available by email/chat submission. IT will call back quickly, which avoids being placed on hold for long period of time, however not having a "800" number to call takes some getting used to. I must admit though, the IT department is quick to respond once a request for help is submitted * the company is on west coast hours; our practice is east coast. Not so much a con, just a small inconvenience
