I added guesty accounting and it has not worked for me. Since I live in mexico, it is not an option to add multiple taxes and I have not been able to automize my owner reports.

Before Guesty we relied on spreadsheets and logging into each OTA separately; now we have a single source of truth for availability, pricing, guest communication and owner statements.

The reporting functionality also provides useful visibility into occupancy, ADR, and overall performance — which is essential for revenue optimisation.

The only downside for me is that the Guesty statements don’t fully match the way my company is set up, where the property owners receive payouts directly from the booking channels.

There are a few areas that could be improved, like making the interface a little easier for new users and improving customer support response times. But overall, Guesty is a reliable and effective tool that helps simplify property management and keep everything organized.

During the transition it is important for the Guesty transition team to take things a little slower and assume the customer has basic knowledge with spreadsheets, uploads, submitting tickets etc.

Automation has reduced manual work for our team and helped us respond to guests faster, which improves reviews and occupancy.

Property Management Tools- Smart lock integrations don't always update in real-time and there is no feature to warn when the lock battery is low prior to being critically low or dead.
