I have used it about three month and not have a proper training however I have had a proper assistance from InnRoad when I need it, now I feel very comfortable on able to navigate the system and accomplish most off the day-to-day tasks and the majority of its functions.

We use Innroad to capture all our bookings whether done through online or other mediums, thus allowing us to capture a full picture of our occupancy.

MAjor frustration at first - If you have never set un something like this (or even used it), it can be overwhelming. But you must use the tech support folks who really are there for you 24/7 and then it is wonderful - they teach you as well as guide you through anything at all that you need.

Management doesn't follow up and they think I have nothing but time to sit at my phone and wait for return calls.

Be sure you are prepared for booking out your hotel as this software increased efficiency and exposure quickly enabling you to sell all your inventory.

We had a seasonal worker quit because Innroad constantly had errors and made her look bad.

The software needs to be tested before it is put out there for the consumer to use.

It is important to carefully setup your rates, promotions and blocked rooms or you can run into challenges with wrong rates or double bookings. When in doubt reach out to support they are always willing to help get things right for you.

It would be sensible to have an actual IT person and a person who works in the industry to assist in the development.

Robust system that allows integrations with other sources such as expedia, airbnb etc.

If you are familiar with the multiple channel management programs like me it is easy to understand the workflow of the platform however for the inexperienced staff we needed a alot of training to get them used to use the platform with all capabilities.

As a user if the product was not able to perform a particular function i was able to submit it as an possible future upgrade to be reviewed.    

OTA integrations works flowlessly and the updates we have pushed are reflected to all the integrated platforms without delay.

Like all software programs, this one can be a little rigid, or not exactly intuitive. But, when I called customer service, they either can explain it to me and help me out, or, at times they've actually gotten back to the software engineers to change how the program works in the real world!

I needed to eaither assist them manually or direct them to the customer care representatives which is not good for a successful product like Innroad.

The system is very slow and you get the wheel of death.

It doesn't have a blacklist I could use a way to flag people who make reservations, use false phone numbers and block their credit card

Last night I actually had a guest checkin during our first power failure in 6 years and I firmly believe that being able to communicate with her prior to checkin about the status made all of the difference to saving that reservation and having a happy guest this morning.

Of course, you get what you pay for, and so the additional cost over our prior provider is a pain point, but we are getting SO much more in return.  

Even our team who does not spend much time on ThinkReservations is comfortable using it.

We would like to have a maintenance feature, where we can print reports that show what items need attention by room, like broken toilet, mattress wear, etc.  I also would like a real APP for the phone because when you just bookmark the booking calendar via safari or web browser, on the phone it will not navigate easily.
