Emplotime is an online employee time clock application with support for multiple punching, buddy punch lockout, and geolocation, designed for small and midsize businesses. The system can be used on any device, including mobile phones, tablets, and PCs, and users can control which devices employees can clock in and out from.

Emplotime offers a number of optional features, including multiple punching, automatic break deduction, and buddy punch lockout. Users can allow employees to punch in and out multiple times in a day, giving users insight into when employees took their breaks and how long the breaks were. The break deduction feature automatically deducts breaks after employees have worked a predefined number of hours. The buddy punch feature provides all employees with a personal ID code which they must enter when clocking in or out, designed to prevent employees from punching in or out for their late or absent colleagues. Administrators are automatically notified any time an employee clocks in or out using Emplotime.

Emplotime automatically creates daily and weekly overtime reports, based on user-defined overtime thresholds. Paid and unpaid time off can be managed, including vacations, sick days, and other leave types. Employees can add short notes when they clock out, allowing managers to track the number of hours spent on specific projects or jobs, and the built-in geolocation feature automatically records the location of employees when they clock in or out. Users can export reports in multiple formats including Excel, Word, and PDF.
