Having worked in recruitment for nearly 30 years, I can honestly say JobAdder’s customer service is the worst I’ve experienced.

There are cheaper options available on the market but you lose some integration capabilities.

A business claiming to be a market leader should not treat its customers this way.

It is just the severe limitations we have with TimeAdder, which is conceptually a simple system and most of our candidates and clients use it with ease, but from a manager/administrator perspective, we can't troubleshoot (ie, reset a password, edit a timesheet, create a timesheet for a contractor, turn email reminders on or off, etc.) and it renders us helpless and JobAdder customer support either can't do anything or is perplexed by whatever the issue is.

Administrators should be able to be the ones to send reset password emails at any time and not rely on JobAdder to communicate with TimeAdder and "hope and pray" that it goes through.

I would be great if JA could automate some of the Skills input from a resume as this is still a time-consuming task when we could be doing other things.

I use to use Salesforce and Target Recruit and I had to employ a database administrator to help with the backend.

The only con I can think of is the interface for my website wasn't customizable enough to fit the style.

Can't cross reference candidate profiles directly to other client profiles and open orders as easily, and tracking them through the process isn't as usable/readable and it can be hard to tell where a candidate is in an interview process since there aren't really complex status options.

In August 2025, Breezy contacted us, saying our “renewal was past due” and threatened to interrupt service unless we signed a new contract at a higher price. When I asked why the invoice and the contract were different, Breezy acknowledged that their contracts and invoices “don’t sync” and that the billing system had auto-generated the lower invoice.

The surface is not attached through any API to the project management services, this would be helpful to be able to more clearly identify the jobs when you need to make an assessment of their quality or the interactions that employees have with each other during the development of each.
