The only thing that I don't like is that MobileServe charges you depending on the number of students you have.

They can download the app to their phone, mobile devices or simply use it on a desktop.

Instead of a set price, but in reality it's not a huge problem.

MoneyMinder added value by minimizing the effort required for the volunteer treasurer to keep up with daily bank transactions as well as communicating concisely to the board members.

All of the reports you need are there - audit, treasurer's report, data broken out as needed. And best of all, REAL HUMANS with school experience are available via chat and on the phone!

We do not have a professional accountant in our organization, and we needed software that could help us keep track of our finances and create reports for our board.

My favorite feature is the ability to file your tax form within the program using information you've entered all year!

I usually use it once a month to import our financials and it works great keeping me organized.

Overall have been very happy and believe we receive good value for the fees paid. As mentioned earlier, a partnership with another service that handles administration would be really nice, but we continue to use MoneyMinder because it has the ability to attach electronic support to each journal entry, is easier to navigate and the reports are better.

It is geared towards school nonprofits, so it really focuses on what we need - ease of use, tracking, managing information and contacts, etc.

I love that you don't need an 2nd authenticator, it helps our board members so that we don't have to assign logins.

Some features feel limited—for example, customization options for reports or categories could be more flexible.

The security provisions in place as well make me less stress about possible unauthorized access to our financial reporting, which is paramount.

MoneyMinder has a quick learning curve, is easy to use, allows for secure accounting with detailed backup materials, and can connect to our banking institutions.

Monthly reconciliations help keep our books balanced and give our auditor everything they need each year.

The Budget Analysis would be nice to be able to click on each line item to see the itemized transactions.

We are working with our coaches to set budgets so the reporting more/less is more intuitive to us.

As much as I loathe two-factor authentication to log in to websites, I think MoneyMinder may need to beef up their security.

It’s an easy tool, financial reporting is great, and it helps us ensure bank reconciliation is accurate and detailed.

That would save time instead of posting dozens of separate journal entries for each payment received.

I wish the new reimbursement process was able to be combined into a single transaction is needed.  

Our group particularly relies on the balance sheet, but several other detailed reports are also available.

It would be great to be able to go directly to printing checks without having to save the file and print from there.

Setting up your bank account, budget and keeping track of expenses are a breeze!

I have eliminated the need for a paper check register and bank reconciliation is a breeze.    

Overall, MoneyMinder saves time, ensures accuracy, and keeps financial data safe and accessible.

One other wish is I want to be able filter like items that don’t have a receipt yet.

The cost, as a non profit I wish we could keep the cost slightly lower, but I understand why the cost is so high based on the product and support.

I also like I can give access to your whole board so they can also see what is going on.

MoneyMinder is very easy to navigate. Once you set up your budget, it's simple to add in expenditures and account for them under certain budget items.

This program takes quite a bit of time to set up and some with limited computer experience, find it difficult to navigate.

It takes some time to edit the export down to what I'm looking for.

I also wish there were a mobile app to make managing finances on the go easier.

During the first week online live chatting helped me get over the few bumps that came up.

Making financial reports for board meetings is simple and straightforward!

The organization answered questions in a timely manner and worked with us to resolve any issues we encountered.

Treasurer of HOA

It has online tutorials that you are able to watch and learn as you go.

For only having one day on the software, with zero accounting background, I set up a budget, ran an expense report, added bank transactions, and since it is the last day of the month, ran a reconciliation report.

I’m hoping to find efficiencies so handing off the Treasurer role won’t seem so daunting in the future.

With MMP, we now have one place as the 'system of record' for all that work, but in addition, the documents storage and management has been a big plus so that we don't have to hunt down who on the board has the current 'master' of a document.

Setting up for the new fiscal year can be a somewhat challenging but if you need help, their support is great.

The reporting features are also excellent.

I had no guidance from our previous treasurer when I took over, and I was able to navigate with ease.

I have been a treasurer in many capacities for 3 decades and find this is THE app to use for any NonProfit Corp, hands down!

i've been a volunteer treasurer for over two years now and money minder is a better value than certain books that are "fast"

What truly stands out, though, is their chat feature and support team.

I wish there was a more user friendly way to toggle between fiscal years.

I've only been using it for a couple of months, though though this time was spent verifying and reconciling past and current year, which gave me a much more thorough understanding of navigating MoneyMinder, correcting my mistakes, and learning how to use categories and budgeting.

Another school in our district also experienced a glitch like this.

The platform itself is very intuitive, and I was able to get up and running quickly without feeling overwhelmed.

More than once, a customer service rep has stayed on the phone with me even after hours to resolve something.

This program is available from anywhere you access the internet, and very secure.
