Pros

We have been very impressed with Namely's interest in responding to client needs and I've not ever worked with a company such as theirs with a roadmap that is truly responsive to clients.
It is user friendly, accurate, and reliable. I also love working with a dedicated payroll rep each payroll cycle to help make things run smooth and efficiently.
There are many other more cost effective and competent payroll services available. I strongly recommend using them.

Pros

I was amazed because it is a great product for nothing. They are open that they'd like to set you up with their benefits provider.
The onboarding process is great on the new employee side. The staff have welcomed my feedback when I give it, which I appreciate.
The customer service is by far the best feature, as they're responsive even after hours and always willing to help.

Cons

TERRIBLE!!! AWFUL!!! TOTAL NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE. My husband's employer (he is a Network Engineer) recently came on board with Namely, too.
When you assign a task to someone there is no way to set reminders or alert you if you have a task overdue. Also, no notification or red flag that says you have incomplete tasks on the homepage.
Hold times for client services are crazy. I guess b/c the company is in financial trouble the staff is bare.

Cons

I have no comment for this. Never had an issue to dislike anything.
If you are looking for a one stop HR portal - look no further than GoCo.
From my perspective, Goco is suffering new-startup syndrome where they overloaded their staff and make promises they can't possibly deliver.
