A few years ago, ProProfs implemented a 'Users' function. Some of the more common K-12 accounts limit teachers to 75 users, which is not nearly enough in a high school. I hope ProProfs increases teacher accounts to 150 users, which honestly is the minimum number of users that would be practical for a high school teacher like myself.

It has everything you need. It isn't the prettiest, and sometimes I get calls about how to access their certificates of completion after finishing a quiz (though I think that is more user error than anything else). Overall, it's dependable, and hasn't let us down yet.

It isn't design heavy, which makes it feel a bit clunky, but it's extremely accessible, which makes up for that fact.

Why is it so difficult to integrate custom made rubrics? Why is the software consistently knocking out students and losing their essay work?

We looked at the applications available ten years ago and chose ProProfs because of the ease of setup and the ability to provide our course attendees with a better way to assess their knowledge of our system. We've reviewed newer alternatives and still find that ProProfs makes whats important to us their priority.

I can think of only one thing that has caused us angst over the years, and that's the ability to output the exam to a spreadsheet.

Quiz Maker has a great user interface. Just as importantly, the user experience is exceptional. My favorite aspect is the ability to customize certificates of completion. This allows us to brand this documentation accordingly. This feature alone is far superior to competitors that provide certificates which offer little, if any customization.

I have used Quiz maker for several years. I honestly can't think of a negative. It tends to be a bit pricey-- but you get what you pay for.

I like ProProfs because it is flexible and effective. It allows me to program quizzes at the start of the course at leave everything programmed. It also gives you the possibility to randomize the order of questions and answers, as well as to select questions randomly from a pool. With the level of cheating that you see nowadays, that is a must.

Time on time I encounter glitches in the software, although that does not happy often. The price is another downside to me.

The product is intuitive, and easy to use. I’ve used the software for about seven years and have not had any issues.

My only improvement with the software is that all the spreadsheets can’t be downloaded at one time.

I like that you can disable tab switching and copying the text of the quiz. It helps to cut down on cheating.

I did not like that I didn't get an alert when I was near/at my max users, but they just fixed that! So I have no complaints.

We can't keep the score reports after deleting users (it was working a few years ago)

The ease of use of ProProfs is unlike most LMS' I researched and is more cost efficient.

There is an option to changes the language but this only applies to the wording in the program, not the content of the quizzes. This would be a great help to convert everything as our company has three languages to deal with.

This Product is great for the low cost , But the ability to create hotspots on an assessment is the most valuable tool this software offers. It allows me to take images of products and use that image as part of the assessment to identify certain key areas of the image

There are still hiccups using hotspots, not all browsers handle the experience the same way and limitations on some of the resolutions can create an unstable experience. End user experience vary when it comes to accurate results but for the value the software still proves to be useful

I like the quizzes - multiple choice and writing in options. I like the word searches and crosswords. Can embed on website. The quizzes look great on my website - adds a professional twist.

I've found embedding problems with quizzes and word searches. Not responsive. I have tweaked between using % and width/length. The % doesn't seem to be responsive. When I do word searches and crosswords (Online Brain Games), they're not on My Quizzes and really hard to find them again. I had to click on Online Brain Games and log in again and finally found them in My Account. It's been frustrating over the years!

The best thing is when a new aspect is introduced and I don't understand, the customer service is simply the best in the world at getting you the help you need to address your issue.

This product skips over the poorly designed self made format, and provides easy to use templates that look professional.

At times the word entry style can mark an answer wrong, but this is easily fixed.

The ease of developing and editing the exams. The stats available are extremely helpful.

Nothing really, there is always assistance if I need it.

Easy to use. Great for large numbers of students. I like to ability to be able to create a large number of "groups". This is extremely important for me.

It is expensive. I would not mind paying one time fee for the software, however, paying that price yearly is quite expensive for a teacher.

There’s nothing that I didn’t like. It is an amazing tool for creating quizzes.

I use ProProfs as a modern replacement for old-fashioned paper exams. Once you get over the learning curve on how to set up an exam, it is easy enough to create the exams. And I like having a lot of options for the types of questions. And I also like being able to tailor the exam settings to meet my needs.

The number one complaint I hear from students is that ProProfs forces you to answer each question before moving on to the next question. Students like to go through the exam, answer all the questions they know, and then go back to answer the harder questions. They can mark a question for later review but they still have to answer.

The quiz aspect gives competition between takers.The continuous improvements and ease of use of the program.

There is no differece in value of the points given in the answers; each correct answer has the same value.

not a complete data base of questions. can't combine questions by simple selection, can't migrate data into crossword puzzles

Easy setup of quiz, lots of features and options. The possibility of adding explanation text to a question is a special bonus.

Can't be saved on my laptop, always need Internet access. Users with limited bandwidth have slow access
