We couldn't hire effectively without The Resumator. It's great.
The Resumator rocks for three reasons: it makes it easy for non-technical folks to maintain our jobs page, gets us listed on job site aggregators like Indeed, and it streamlines our hiring process from candidate application to a hiring decision.
No cons I can think of.

JazzHR is such an easy piece of software, if you're a big call centre constantly recruiting then this is the software for you
Really simplistic set up and even easier to use piece of software. We found that we were able to work so much quicker during the hiring process and significantly improve the experience for any would be applicants
Not really any cons of this, we don't hire often so wasn't really something we'd used past the free trial

JazzHR has come a long way. Now that they've been taking client feedback and suggestions very seriously, I can't complain. New features and improvements are popping up every week. The annoying user experience issues that I have dealt with previously are near completely gone and this ATS makes my job a lot easier. Their development team has done a great job and they've done much better testing to prevent unexpected bugs. Recruiting with JazzHR is highly automated and enjoyable.
JazzHR is easy to use and allows customized automation, enabling us to hire a massive number of candidates efficiently.
Canned application questions wording still can't be edited per client company.

I enjoy the ability to use questionnaires to screen candidates. Also the emails in the system save me a ton of time!
I wish there was a workflow for the start of every position to track when and who requests a new hire.

It has helped us effectively hire record number of new employees. It keeps us well organized and does what an ATS is supposed to do relatively well.
The price is good for a mediocre ATS that does the basics well at keeping candidates and jobs organized. The email templates are fully functional. Candidate profiles are pretty well organized, except across jobs. Job cloning and posting process is pretty smooth. It operates fast and rarely has technical issues. They have made some improvements based upon our suggestions, but it took a long time and was like pulling teeth to see any progress.
Candidate notes/comments/discussion cannot be seen across different jobs or even instances of jobs. Customer and candidate support costs extra to interact via phone, otherwise only internet form submission is required to resolve issues. Overpromised and underdelivered features, functionality, and continuous development speed. Not very customizable. Poorly designed. New and updated features are poorly beta-tested before release and not well thought out from a user perspective. Changes to Workflow templates, stages, and disposition reasons cannot easily be cloned across all of them at once, meaning you need to edit many different templates individually. Task automation features exist, but are poorly designed sometimes.

EVERYTHING! The best part was the integration with LinkedIn. I have all of my users fully trained and we use JazzHR to the best of our abilities. It allows me to streamline the recruiting and hiring process.
I wish I was able to hire my employees and have this software link to my payroll system. This way the full life cycle of the candidate to employee is housed in one spot.

Jazz is uber-user friendly - for the client and the candidate. So many reporting capabilities. Even better support staff. Could NOT hire 700 people last year with any other ATS!
Super easy to use! Fantastic support team!
Sometimes there is a lag between screen, especially when scheduling interviews.

Amazing customer service. I cannot express how easy this system is to use. I wish I had this 2 years ago!
It is so simple to set up and get started. It saves time with the various organizational tools such auto-reply emails, job-specific questionnaires, and ease of integration to our website. The application process is simple for the applicants to complete - no logins or passwords to remember. The site has a responsive layout which makes it mobile-friendly (more than 85% of our applicants apply via a mobile device).
To use for onboarding with e-forms, it takes a little more set-up time in creating the e-forms. It would be nice to have available common new hire documents already set up as e-forms (i.e. W4 tax forms, I-9, etc.). When the forms are set up, the new hire will need to complete duplicate information on the forms instead of it being auto-filled (name, address, etc.). However, once the forms are set up, they're there and can be saved and used for all new hires.

We were having prior problems not getting enough applicants, time to hire was absurdly long (sometimes months) and both problems have been solved. We have good applicants and in some cases, it takes less than two weeks to fill a vacancy.
The ease of use, ability to automate, ease of access (no weird accounts or software downloads) and the ability to have a good pool of applicants within days.
The functionality is a little limited for a large organization, however, I think it's up to us to adapt to the software instead of expecting the other way around.

I think JazzHR is a great recruiting tool. I just wish I had more training from my HR team in order to learn the ins and outs of this tools. I will definitely reuse it should we need to hire additional team members.
I recently used JazzHR to recruit a new team member for my own team. JazzHR was very easy to use and navigate. I was able to select my top candidates and view their resumes directly on JazzHR.
Not sure if this is a JazzHR issue but none of my candidates submitted a cover letter. My HR team set up the job posting and I was only in charged on the recruitment and viewing candidates on JazzHR so maybe it is a settings that we forgot to check. Other than that, I think it is a great tool!

Ease of tracking applicants from application to hire, bulk action features saves time when sending out correspondence; set up and customizing the system to meet your company's needs was easy to do. JAZZ is always taking customer feedback and improving the system based on that feedback.
Ease of use, ability to capture all information under the applicant, ability to discuss applicant with hiring manager by tagging them in the conversation are some of the pros with this software. Visually, it shows you at a glance where the candidate is at in the pipeline. Setting up your templates and workflow to customize your company's needs was easy to do. The bulk action feature is also a plus when sending out correspondence to applicants. Customer support is always helpful.

-Customer Services is fantastic. I have not had a negative experience with any of their reps (over phone, email, chat, voicemail follow up, etc.). They hire great people who are doing a marvelous job. -The ability to edit the functionality of the system to what we need is perfect for our fast moving and growing company's hiring needs. -Very good pricing.
-Some functionality still needs to be worked on to allow for better reporting, edit ability of workflows, changes to interview structures/questions, etc..

Jazz has played a key role in helping our team hire great talent. We particularly like to simple opt-in ability to list the job on multiple sites all with the click of a button. The branded pages helps us keep our career page up-to-date and in line with the roles for which we are hiring.

Working in a fast-paced, ever-fluctuating digital environment, we have little time for proper talent sourcing management. Since we started using The Resumator each resume is getting a thorough review and timely follow-up. Scheduling candidates for interviews using the tool is a snap. With The Resumator's social recruiting tools, we re able to share jobs with the right circles. We re able to hire more quickly and with less cost by handling recruiting in-house, thanks to The Resumator.
The system essentially replaced recruiters for us. It also provides a very fluid, easy to use management console that enables us to completely manage our HR process within the system.
I would eventually like to see it connect with more recruitment sites.

Our company work requires applicants with specific skill sets in working with Cryptographic technologies to include Block chain ledgers and control platforms. As a result it can be difficult to find and qualify competitive applicants. Since we began using Jazz HR , we have found a new and useful tool in our discovery process. Over just a few months our hire retention rates have increased and our time cycles to train are greatly reduced. Finally, the quality of talent is improving as a direct result of using this software. We are excited to continue its use and happy to recommend it to human resource departments for companies small to moderate size.
The highly configurable tools in this software allow for in an depth discovery and qualification for potential applicants. Such tools include question and answer templates . Answers then can be analyzed and even rated for accuracy. This application can also assist in logistics such as in helping to scheduling meetings for review during a hiring process. There is a companion application for mobile devices which allow for seamless communication from fellow workers to share their reflections and ideas on a potential hire. There are as well options to leverage social networking sites to discover potential new talent as well.
The only real negative we can highlight would be in the area of support for the product itself. If your team works late hours as we do , they can be difficult to reach. This is a minor inconvenience largely out weighed by the many benefits of this HR software.

I hire for basically the same job (or a few jobs) at 23 campuses across the U.S. A lot of ATS companies will charge you per location and even per user which obviously doesn't work for us. Jazz charges a flat fee per month with unlimited users, locations (called departments), jobs, and postings on free job boards. It's an incredible value for the money you pay. I'm still discovering new features and better ways to build my workflow and improve my screening process each time I log in.
I looked at a lot of different ATS options, and this one knocked everyone else out of the park. For the money you pay, it is definitely the best value. I love the many integration options. Instead of using my calendar, Asana, email, our application site, and spreadsheets for tracking candidates and reporting, Jazz allows me to have every part of my hiring and on boarding system in one place. The knock out questions and questionnaires have increased my ability to screen candidates as well, saving me the time I would have spent interviewing unqualified candidates. It's also very easy to set up and use. Customer service is on point, and they patiently walked me through the set up process and are quick to answer any questions that come up. I'm very happy with the decision I made.
So far so good. I really can't think of anything that I don't like about it. I would love to see them add an automated reference check to the system, but that's not super common with ATS anyway. They seem to be constantly improving the system and adding features. I imagine it won't be long before they add this.

Jazz formerly known as The Resumator is easy, no frills and their customer service is responsive in a timely manner. Jazz does it all in handling job postings, applicant status, resume management, eSignature, etc. For the cost you can not go wrong for what you need. Other systems are very costly in price and we find with Jazz it gives us everything we need to do job postings, review candidates, hire and keep track of resumes to build up our pipeline. I still like the name The Resumator oppose to Jazz.
Almost everything it has to offer and more. Use of templates, automatic emails to candidates, managing who can view resumes, track and search.
Loading and downloading can take sometime but it may be the website.

Initially great. Automatic renewal is the only option allowed. They claim to have sent a reminder email but if they truly did it went to junk or spam. Then when the draft came out and I tried to cancel, I could not talk to a live person. Anyone I talked to "wasn't in that department and would forward my info to the correct department." Which got me an email but just reminded me that cancellation took a 30 day notice and no refunds would be given. Maybe this platform is good for big companies that constantly have jobs to post. But as a small company with only one opening to post, it was a costly error to use this platform as I ended up paying 2 years of membership fees to post one job and didn't even hire anyone from this platform.
Creating my job was easy and it posted multiple places at once.
Candidates weren't any more likely to actually show for interviews than those who had applied via Facebook.
