I have been a customer for 5 years now because I like the software, but I'm at the point where I am fed up with not feeling like a priority.   When issues come up be ready to wait for days, weeks, and even months for a solution.  

I NEVER use FieldRoutes system to call or text my customers, but I always get charges for "calling or texting" the customer.

However it has delivered on many other items that have greatly improved my workflow and customer communication.

Currently I have been locked out of my account for 3 days due to a bad card on file, and even though I paid the balance in full the second I was locked out, they have made no effort to get me back into my account to run my business, which has been on hold for three days now.

Worst feature is that routes built on a recurring schedule don't go to their assigned times on future dates, so you have drag appointments around to their correct spots constantly.

We are not trying to overcomplicate our workflow; we are trying to get reliable access to the data and visibility that should support scheduling, dispatching, reporting, customer retention, and technician performance.

There are no ways to delete different events and mistakes, or to revert mistakes. If I create an event, or checklist, it is not easily undone. If I want to change the way I do things in the company, I cannot because there is not an easy way to change what I do on FieldRoutes.

They claim this was a "user requested feature" to have appointments be where they were first scheduled, but it's just terrible and makes zero sense. If a customer is assigned to a recurring time slot, that's where it should be when routes automictically generate!

I didn’t like that only one user could make adjustments to a customer card at once, sometimes a user might forget to close out a tab and so you unable to make adjustments until that user logs off.

Another downside was that the mobile app could sometimes run slower than expected depending on connectivity. While the platform is very helpful overall, there were moments where customization options or report generation felt more complicated than necessary for everyday use.

In general, the biggest frustration is that FieldRoutes is our core operational system, but many of the things we need to run the business well require external tools.

the interface is old and feels outdated, it can use a remodel, like a modern one, were in 2026 and it feels like its from the 90s

just the loading time its smooth but when it comes to loading there are many times where it takes a while but then again it might be my computer also it doesn't automatically save notes

The recommended routes pop up window is extremely aggravating for schedulers and slows down our process repeatedly.

Minor cons would mainly be the learning curve when first getting started and occasionally having to dig through menus to find certain settings or reports.

Mobile app quirks – Techs occasionally experience syncing issues or delayed updates in the field.

The ability to quickly send digital contracts has been very helpful in growing our company quickly.

Some updates can slightly change workflows, which may take a little adjustment for the team.

The department works in a high paced environment and the recommended route pop up window slows us down.

The app freezes at times while attempting to schedule a customer appointment.
