Integration with Vrbo was too difficult. But that has since been solved and in truth the technical problems were the fault of Vrbo whose technology stack is a hodgepodge of old systems held together with sticky tape, the result of years of acquisitions and cobbled together integration.

Given the location of the property in Costa Rica, my payment options were limited and was not able to use the pay cleaner service.

I'm brand new to being a STR property owner and even before we closed on the duplex I knew I wanted to list my property on multiple OTA's and make my own direct booking site.  

The fact that it also includes my own direct booking website is a huge bonus and makes my business feel more professional while giving me more control.

I would think for a 73usd subscription Lodgify can find a way to be the main gateway for managing of funds going in and out through direct deposits.

The website builder is incredibly intuitive, allowing you to create a professional-looking site that actually converts.

most notably, when Lodgify records the number of nights book they are actually reporting on the number of days booked.

Due to my location, getting paid and having to do commission payouts manually can be a hassle.

Again, with the exception of a few minor reporting bugs and the lack of some (nice to have) features, Lodgify has delivered on all fronts.

Subscription cost becomes more noticeable as I add properties, especially when I’m still scaling NamStay and watching margins closely.

I like the blog that includes article to help you regarding setup your account, website, etc, it also helps you understanding how you can promote your website (webinars) and finally to show you success stories and some brilliant examples of rentals.

It’s allowed us to build and control our own brand presence rather than relying entirely on OTAs.

Lag time exists on email correspondence I receive directly from airbnb to appear in the Lodgify system.

Cancellations and no-shows are killing me with no way to collect the cancellation penalties imposed by booking.com.

It woukd be great if there was an infirmation dump to create booking.com and VRBO dorectly from Lodgify.

There is a learning curve, and some reporting tools could go deeper, but overall Lodgify has been a strong partner in helping us scale thoughtfully and professionally.

With Lodgify I was able to make a professional direct booking website for our gite in France.

It can be mentioned in the calendar when choosing dates that it can be more practical, when for example if you choose a long series of dates sometimes it can be a little less practical.

I wish Lodgify could accept credit card payments directly for booking.com reservations.

Onboarding clearly outlined everything i needed to do, setting up the website was extremely simple, and the calendar sync ( once the bugs got panned out) has been flawless.

There are a few features we hope to seem come more quickly in the roadmap, including support for sms/text messaging (this is how most folks prefer communicating) and some additional options on payment policies.   

I also have not been able to setup a stripe account so I still cannot receive guest payments.

This is particularly useful for property walkthroughs and for compelling landing pages.

I often have to do the same thing twice in the calendar in order for it to show up.

Some of the workflows for the website and listings feel unintuitive.

It’s clear that their support team is either overwhelmed, undertrained, or simply unwilling to provide the assistance customers expect especially for a paid service. Despite the numerous issues I’ve reported, nothing has been fixed and I’ve seen no progress in resolving the problems.

I never used the platform because was pointless and I continued to work on both Airbnb and VRBO platforms and not VRBO since Lodigfy connection VRBO never worked.
