Sophie S.: So my name is Sophie. I am the owner of Shiny Blue Apartments, and I am giving Lodgify a five star review. So before Lodgify, I was manually using the different channels, Airbnb and Booking.com, to create reservations for my apartment. The biggest reason that I looked into a consolidated software to help me automate a lot of the tasks, primarily my calendar, my pricing, which was very difficult in managing between the different marketplaces. And then finally the biggest thing that I wanted to do was to create my own website, and Lodgify made it very easy for me to do so. I switched to Lodgify because I wanted an easy to use tool. I was able to get into the product and kind of play around with it and understand how easy it was. The onboarding process was wonderful. The person who I worked with was fantastic. She helped me set up everything, and once she explained a few things to me, it was easy for me to make any changes after that. And then building my website was great. Everything was integrated. I didn't have to create any code or anything like that. It was just a WYSIWYG type of interface that was easy to use. It was very easy to integrate into Lodgify with Airbnb and Booking. VRBO was a little bit of a challenge, but that was not really Lodgify's challenge. It's more of VRBO making it difficult for people to go through it. I have a little bit of a complicated situation with specific prices, actually not prices, but currencies that I use. The apartment is in Cyprus, so I needed to use Euros, so that presented a little bit of a challenge, but again, Maria, who was my onboarding specialist, explained everything to me. She spent more than an hour with me explaining everything and going inside the tool and showing me, not just doing it herself, but showing me and explaining to me why things are done in certain way. And once I did that and kind of understood the way it was built, it was just easy for me to make any changes. I would say make sure that you've got your listings first on your marketplaces. Understand the needs that you have. Make a determination Of you are looking to automate, whether it's your calendar, whether it's your pricing, or whether it's having your direct website. It could also be property management, which I'm currently not using from Lodgify. So I have a list of the criteria by which you're looking at. The other nice thing for Lodgify was, for me, it was pretty affordable, so it wasn't breaking the bank in having the software, so that made it even better for me.

Bethany: Hi, I am Bethany. And I am one of the owners of our short-term rental investment companies called The Swinging Pineapple. We are a small to mid-size company and we use Lodgify to help us with our company. And on a scale of one to five, I give Lodgify a four. Previously before using Lodgify, we were actually just using the direct websites for our short-term rental properties, and I just found that what we were looking for, I needed more, and Lodgify was able to provide those tools for us to manage our company. Additionally, we are in the market for buying more investment properties and we knew that we could run those properties all through one platform, which would be Lodgify. We chose Lodgify just for its simple, streamlined platform and that it also offers various other apps that come within the Lodgify platform to manage how much our rental income is doing nightly. Also, setting up communication with different people that are interested in the properties, as well as creating our welcome book. I wanted something digital and it was very exciting to me that Lodgify actually provided that service. Initially, when I first started using the Lodgify platform I did find it a little bit confusing just because it was a platform I wasn't familiar with. But what was really awesome was that Lodgify contacted me and we set up a training for me and they recorded it and actually sent that recording to me so that I had access to go back and do those tools and use those tools and set up the platform how it was easy for us to use, and that was really appreciative. And they're always accessible to me when I have questions on how to change or use their platform in a different way. Anybody that would like to use Lodgify to manage their short-term rentals, I highly recommend Lodgify. It was very helpful just because the platform and the accessibility to the support system to help you set up your residences as well as just the tools that they offer for your business is very helpful. So I liked that it was in one-stop shop and I only had to go to Lodgify site to really get those tools, and I appreciate that.

Relatively simple to use. I was able to set up my site and reservation system in less than a week. Site works extremely well on mobile devices (which is huge). I am starting to get a lot of direct online bookings which is amazing. The customer service is very good - I have asked several detailed how-to questions. In one case, I wanted to do something that is not part of the Lodgify product. The service rep researched other ways to accomplish the task and integrate into my site. She sent me detailed instructions and even links to assist me. Not many companies will take the time to do that! Finally, the workflow aspect of the reservation system is a huge time saver. It is so nice to be able to set up automatic payment reminders, send rental agreements and canned emails automatically! Gives me time to worry about running my business and expanding the website instead of doing all the manual processes associated with bookings.
Some of the widgets are a little restrictive. I have managed to work around most of them. My only other complaint is that if you respond to an inquiry with a quote, the system automatically blocks the dates with a tentative booking. I sync my HomeAway, VRBO etc calendars with my Lodgify calendar, so the tentative block causes those calendars to show unavailable. In this business, the conversion rate on inquiries is not high enough to block dates simply because someone sent an inquiry.

The ability to consolidate multiple properties across multiple platforms.
The interface with VRBO was a little more of a challenge than Air BnB but that is very likely the fault of VRBO....

After more than 2 years of usage, my opinion is that this product is suitable for personal use with a limited number of listings, but it falls short in terms of reliability for professional purposes. Significant improvements are necessary to make it suitable for professional use. I have encountered numerous critical issues that caused trouble with customers and have yet to be resolved. It is impossible to use it effectively in a team, as no team member is able to manage the inbox. The accounting aspect is also unreliable, with confusing fee discrepancies.
the good point is that it is easy to use and has a nice design -
Riddled with bugs, this platform has caused me significant issues with customers, making it quite troublesome. As a team, we are unable to use it effectively since we have to share the same account, and none of us have access to the inbox. Additionally, while I also use Pricelabs, some of its features do not integrate smoothly with Lodgify, rendering it practically unusable.

Very impressed. My previous PMS was acquired by Guesty. Rubbish support, terrible UI, didn’t do basic things like send invoices. Lodgify is light and day better. My only gripe aside 1% stripe fee is migration. It took days as Lodgify automate nothing. Ho hum. I’m here now and it’s great. Onwards!
UI is super simple. It’s a joy to use. User centred design.
