What I love most about Lodgify for NamStay is how it centralises everything into one professional system — syncing my Airbnb and Booking.com bookings, preventing double bookings, automating guest communication, and generating clean owner reports, while also giving me a branded direct-booking website that increases my margins and allows NamStay to scale without adding operational chaos.

Integration with Vrbo was too difficult. But that has since been solved and in truth the technical problems were the fault of Vrbo whose technology stack is a hodgepodge of old systems held together with sticky tape, the result of years of acquisitions and cobbled together integration.

The fact that Lodgify can manage my reservations and pricing across all apps is truly amazing and helps in me being able to have a full-time job and still efficiently manage.

Given the location of the property in Costa Rica, my payment options were limited and was not able to use the pay cleaner service.

Again, with the exception of a few minor reporting bugs and the lack of some (nice to have) features, Lodgify has delivered on all fronts.

Subscription cost becomes more noticeable as I add properties, especially when I’m still scaling NamStay and watching margins closely.

Lag time exists on email correspondence I receive directly from airbnb to appear in the Lodgify system.

Cancellations and no-shows are killing me with no way to collect the cancellation penalties imposed by booking.com.

With Lodgify I was able to make a professional direct booking website for our gite in France.

I wish Lodgify could accept credit card payments directly for booking.com reservations.

Onboarding clearly outlined everything i needed to do, setting up the website was extremely simple, and the calendar sync ( once the bugs got panned out) has been flawless.

I also have not been able to setup a stripe account so I still cannot receive guest payments.

I often have to do the same thing twice in the calendar in order for it to show up.

I would think for a 73usd subscription Lodgify can find a way to be the main gateway for managing of funds going in and out through direct deposits.

It’s clear that their support team is either overwhelmed, undertrained, or simply unwilling to provide the assistance customers expect especially for a paid service. Despite the numerous issues I’ve reported, nothing has been fixed and I’ve seen no progress in resolving the problems.

Due to my location, getting paid and having to do commission payouts manually can be a hassle.

Challenging channel integrations

I never used the platform because was pointless and I continued to work on both Airbnb and VRBO platforms and not VRBO since Lodigfy connection VRBO never worked.

Inadequate guest messaging features

Often with 3rd party sites..messages do not come over to Lodgify misisng valuable and important communication from guests.

This is a big issue we have received two very bad reviews on booking.com and our unit is not being received any new bookings since because the guest were upset that the messages were sent in English and not Spanish!
