Pros

I have worked with both Mike and Tom and what a joy it is. Both those fellows are so knowledgeable and always willing to help me out, make suggestions and just do a fantastic job in general.
We are long-time and very happy Mandarin Library Automation customers. We think everyone in your tech support department is fantastic and so very helpful.
The transition from our old system to Mandarin was amazing. I was happy with the ease of implementing the new system and tech support patiently guided any questions.

Pros

Also, price is more than reasonable. And we always have easy, quick access to help from the company when it has been needed - of course the major positive there being it has been needed very little.
Knowing that help is just a phone call or email away gives me confidence as we go forward with this adventure.
For over ten years we have enjoyed an exceptionally synergistic relationship with the Infovision staff and love the Evolve ILS.

Cons

I inherited a very poorly cataloged collection: corrupt classification, lost records, level one (or less) catalog- ing, lack of subject headings.
Much as the software is efficient, less developed communities with poor internet infrastucture may find the software irritating due to internet connectivity issues.
Having to switch between the Equipment, Textbook and General Library databases is sometimes confusing. One often forgets on the first search for an item and has to go back and re-search.

Cons

Occasionally, we've had issues with searching if one letter/number character is missing or out of place.
Integration with digital services such as Overdrive. This could be because I'm unaware of how it can work.).
Sometimes we struggle finding cataloging records for independently published items and occasionally for preorders.
