It handles consignor tracking, split percentages, inventory, payouts, and reporting in a way that is organized, reliable, and easy to audit when questions come up.

I.e tagging options, discounts etc) I like to blend my store inventory in with the rest of the consigned inventory and it has been a bit of a challenge to find the sweet spot for my store inventory in the system.

The reporting tools are especially valuable because they give clear insight into sales performance, inventory aging, and overall profitability without needing to export data elsewhere.

Sometimes IT support responds quickly (within about 30 minutes), but other times it can take days and multiple follow-ups to get a response. When you’re running a store and something isn’t working, that delay can be frustrating.

The system brings structure and transparency to a business model that can otherwise get complicated fast, and that alone makes it incredibly valuable.

I like how clearly it separates store split, consignor items, and inventory so it’s easy to stay organized and keep accurate records.

Getting the credit card machine ordered was a bit laborious and took a lot of time to get it in hand.

The Simple Consign team has expanded the software to dovetail beautifully with Shopify to help me create a seamless integration between my bricks and mortar store and my online sales.

The biggest issue for doing online sales with Shopify was that indicating a single item was available online required 4 separate mouse clicks, and that is per item.  

A full size receipt should print out as the small ones barely have enough room for credit card users to sign and the vendor copy is even smaller and difficult for them to save for there records.

Good experience, although I find simple consign is not updating any of the design flaws or developing more options with the buy outright system.

Having one individual from SimpleConsign triage issues, train, ensure account specific issues were addressed, and ensure all the ‘boxes were checked’ would have prevented extra work at my end.

Custom reports are easy to create and download as a CSV to use a spreadsheet program to create better forms. Since we also hold online auctions, the custom forms can be used to create a dataset to upload to the auction site.

They also have a lot of features that have made running my consignment shop so much easier.

We run a 100% consignor store so tracking and paying out our consignors is really organised with simple consign.

the software needs to also focus on the buy outright option more.

It makes it easy to manage our various consignors and vendors and the real time access to sales is a huge bonus for our vendors.

This system is user friendly and helps from the point of sale to the pay out of consignors.

Vendors do not have to wait until end-of-month accounting is complete to know where there account stands by giving them real time account access.

over all very good but the glitches above prevent it from being perfect for our needs

The response time and assistance from the people who run ConsignCloud is phenomenal.

we can't set up short user pins to enable team members to log in quickly, so consequently everyone just shares the same login and there's no accountability for proper consignment intake and the quality of our product listings suffers as a result.

Reporting in Data Explorer is the least user friendly aspect of the entire software. While it might be in-depth and can dive deeply, I need to be able to run analyses of in-store sales and types of inventory that sell without having to go through a number of filters.

I am so happy I switched and my consignors love their consignor portal as well!

That when you remove inventory that you can’t just remove one of them if there is 4 from the inventory page.

it made our consignment program much more efficient, flexible, and intuitive, and has given us new capabilities.

ConsignCloud offers a fun, enjoyable way to turn my physical store into a kind of video game.

there's no way to directly apply consigncloud store credit at checkout in shopify.

that after images are uploaded we can't expand them to see a full-size version ever again.

We needed a system that seamlessly integrated our multi vendor/booths into the POS, online web sales,  calculated commissions per vendor with different rates,  and had a credit card terminal that interacted automatically with no secondhand entry and Consign Cloud had filled that need fantastically.  

I wish there was an option to pay for specific features, instead of the current tiered system.
