All they do is send you videos and links you have to watch and complete, you don't get to practice with any account until you are officially switched over, is like going to school without having a teacher.

I keep being told things are done and when I do a test run through the rental process things haven't changed.

I wish that we could edit the entire credit card instead of having to delete/re-enter it in payment methods.

The correspondence with tenants/customers within the system is a disaster, there is a lot of limitations on things you can and cannot do.

Our company has been using this software for over a month now, it has been a nightmare to say the least, there was no proper instructions during the transition, once the product was sold and the agreement was signed, we were on our own.

I wish we can go back and never sign up for this software, we were sold the idea of a software that will improve things, the truth is, all of that is misleading information just to get you signed up with them.

So far the most frustrating is the automatic payments not being posted correctly to some customers account.

The software is glitchy, I think the updates are quick fixes to the glitches.

For some reason autopay settings are not anywhere in billing information so tenants have no idea when they update their payment methods that they're being taken off of autopay unless they go to a different part of the site to re-enroll.

There's no way to see a preview of an email you're going to send a tenant to make sure the auto-fill fields populate correctly unless you send the email first and THEN you can see how it turned out.

Facility Manager

I wish there was an option to either notify corporate that the store was needing  X done or Y looked at or...sometimes as a facility Manager we dont know what options have been denied by corporate -or that they X option is even available or Y option could satisfy an issue we may have here at the office.

They will always give you basic solutions/alternative solutions instead of really give you the answer you are looking for.

Better than al the systems we have used in the past. Though the system has some bugs.

I love that I can take my laptop with me and with an Internet Connection I can visit Family & Friends and "work from home" sort of speak.

The potential time reduction in tasks that the program would automatically do were highly appealing to us. And we were correct and able to reduce employment costs.

There is no need to feel worried or overwhelmed about it because there is answer to EVERY problem...no joke.

All sites are in 1 log in, website looks great!

during the busy time at the beginning of the month the program tends to run a little slow which is understandable due to high volume of usage.

I also don't like that I can't easily generate a new lease if the original lease was filled out correctly.

We have not have many software crashes where it prevents us from being able to work on a daily basis.

Unfortunately there's no way to choose what info tenants can and can't update themselves- it's all or nothing.

Other software's may have the same features but storEDGE makes maneuvering and accessing these features easily.

I like how easy it is to add or remove units from my facility map or change pricing on my units.

It also integrates with all the big players in the industry for call centers, online auctions, other rental companies, etc.

Get rid of the word Tenant and be open to great ideas from your customers otherwise don't be surprised when another product comes along and kicks you to the curb.

I've used other software's and storEDGE is simple, easy to access what you need and being able to feel connected to our customers is important to me.

The problem is they refuse to make awesome changes and for this reason they will one day be replaced or become outdated.

Then if still needing explanation then a link to the section whwere we find that particular subject ,

Am I removing them from being set up for autopay, or am I just removing that payment?

How there is no way to transfer tenants to the same account.

It does what we want it to do the most - help the customer and potential customer in a very user friendly way.

So there is an unusable business profile on the corporate level that we just have to ignore. But once set up, things have been going pretty smoothly.

Very easy to follow and understand, Everything a Manager needs at their fingertips.

Rate change notices in particular is not reliable.

Overall we have been very happy with StorEDGE and our experience.   If I ever have any questions or problems, they are quickly resolved or escalated to the proper department.

Overall I think to software works great, I haven't had any major problems using it. If you do have any questions,  the help desk is a phone call or email away.

A lot of the things I use on it I was able to figure out on my own after I got the basics down.

Ability to automate many functions like tenant communication, rate management etc.

Sometimes, it was difficult to get some of my question answered. But I believe that has improved over time.

I like how I can easily generate reports of almost any kind.  

It's the best business soft ware for ANY business, I rely on it heavily.

I have no other employees beyond me and with integration to electric gate and website features, I can do it all from 20 miles away

It's easy to use and the programs always are up to date. If they have a technical issue they resolve it a good timely manner.

Honestly, we didn't finish going thru the whole training videos.

I had no prior experience with operating or owning a storage company.  

For instance, the tenant portal is not great.
