Overall, I prefer GO TO MEETING over zoom and slack
I prefer to use Go to Meeting for conference calls rather than zoom or slack. I could just be stuck in old ways but it seems to have fewer issues.
There isn't really anything that I dislike about Go To Meeting. It always works well and the meetings go smoothly.

Would not recommend especially with alternatives like Slack, Skype, Facetime, WhatsApp, etc.
The reason I used it was because the agency I subcontracted for required meetings on GoToMeeting.
Firstly I don't have a webcam or microphone so I had to dial in the meeting. This defeats the purpose when there are better options like Slack call, Skype call, Facetime, WhatsApp and many more. The agency that required me to use it must pay for the conference platform which I think is a waste of money.

It is easy to use and pretty simple interface.
Zoom is gobbling up the market, they need to update their image and get more "seemless" features like Slack.

I think it is a good alternative to Skype, or Slack but not as a replacement for these tools.
Easily transition into 1 large conference call with internal members from your office as well as external members outside your organization. GoToMeeting works well across all platforms (mobile and desktop).
The overall call quality wasn't too great, and still has some way to go when compared to other conferencing software.

I feel the presentation is incredible for the sort of call we make and the adaptability for joint effort required. This is a business decision for an answer that is first rate as I would see it. For an independent company like mine, the GoTo Meeting arrangement is exceptionally practical and simple to carry out to get to the outcomes in a correspondence item you truly need close by.
Quicker speeds and less slack Better security and encryption Dependability and execution Better portability highlights like video quality Usability
Capacity to add more that 100 members Issue goal a few times patchy Network issues causing disturbance while on a call Live inscription highlight Restricted execution issues with specific web plans

I liked that it was really easy to get started and the screen share quality was really clear.
I prefer other applications like slack that have features like this built in. There isn't a reason to play for it separately.

I used a 14-stage trial, but I decided to use free substitutes, and companies use more popular programs like Slack.
I used the mobile application, and I am very pleased. Good quality, no errors. It's very easy to share screen.
I have some problems with installing. The proces was too long. Could use more attractive extensions and plugins.

If you need to host complex meetings with presentations, this is your tool. If you just want to chat with your team, use something else.
GoTo Meeting does have a lot of features. If you need to host a webinar, for example, this is a strong software to use.
It's more complicated than it needs to be for simple team meetings. It's not as straightforward as something like Google Hangouts or Slack.

Overall it is a viable alternative for online classrooms but not video conferencing for office quick meetings.
The interface is really easy to use. You can share unique link or invite users by email which is very standard. Very few connection issues and online classroom sessions can be conducted using this.
For quick meetings, something like Google Hangouts or even Slack Conference is easy to use. GoToMeeting setup can take time for the first time.

We use slack for most of our intracompany communication, but GoToMeeting is what we use for all voice or video telecons with external parties.
Good external interface including toll-free numbers and video teleconferencing. Good video and voice quality.
Not much to complain about. Over the years it has gotten better, but if you wish to be a presenter you still have to download

Overall, a solid solution, especially for SMB types. As your company scales other tools like Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Slack calls may be more well suited.
For year this was the only solution we used for internal meetings and external client webinars and meetings. It is easy to use, and does provide good analytics of attendees.
Zoom and Microsoft Teams meetings have more bells and whistles, their background functionality is higher tier and we have seen more adoption of these options by which makes the other options more compelling.

It was easy to use, but ultimately our company switched to WebEx and then Zoom because it worked faster and better for the employees.
My company used GoToMeeting to link to Slack and instead of WebEx or Zoom. It helped us have regular virtual meetings and was easy to use.
Functionally, it didn't connect well or the button wouldn't work. It got buggy easily, and often times at least one person would have issues with camera or microphone.

I use it almost weekly to connect to some external vendors and I don't mind using it but I don't like it as much as WebEx or Slack.
I like the fact that you can be anywhere in the world and just use it to connect to people in your organization or outside. This is a great communication application Easy to login to a meeting by a click.
I don't like the quality of the screen shares and other functions seems to be less user friendly compared to other competitors appliactions

GoToMeetings has been a solution I've used at companies since before Citrix acquired them. The software hasn't matured much, and owes most of its performance gains to better bandwidth. For large enterprises, standardizing on a platform such as WebEx or GoToMeeting makes sense, especially if international participants are going to be dialing in. However, Skype for Business (nee Lync) offered the best...
Integrates well with Outlook and meetings are easy to set up and use
No real standout features - quality is fine, but too complex for simple 1:1 chats. Slack and Zoom both have simpler solutions that are more "one-click" insta-meetings.

Better calls. We almost always resort to it when we have to have many people in a distributed meeting. We use Slack, Skype, Zoom but GTM is still remarkably good.
I am impressed by GoToMeeting quality for calls with many people. It is a reference in the market: the voices are clear and understandable. Also it has many features that make large remote meetings manageable.
There are many alternatives, and many are free, so it may not be worth it if you call few people. Yet, it is worth it if you need it.

Excelent tool for sharing ideas remotely with others.
Join.me brings a faster way to share screens with customers not dealing with the same tools as you (Skype, Slack, etc) use with your workmates. It simplifies working remotely.
When sharing screens on a call, sound quality is not the best. Most of the times we have to have the talk by phone or Skype, and screen sharing on join.me. Also, if I have multi-screens, sometimes Join.me have problems showing my 1920x1080 screen to others having a different resolution.

Overall happy with the product but I guess they can learn from applications like Zoom to streamline the app UI. Moreover, they can add more collaboration options like highlighting support available in Slack video calls
We use gotomeeting everyday for our scrum meetings and demos. The application is definitely easier to use and more effective than Slack for video calls where you have to share screen.
The application gives issues with respect to saving login information. Also, the new installer package gives trouble with my old Macbook pro.

Great if you are doing a lot of calls with people outside of your organization. Appreciate the ease of use and customer support as well.
- Very easy to get started - don't need extensive training - A reputable brand that a lot of people are familiar with, great for people who aren't used to conferencing software to join the calls - Anyone can join a call
Pricing doesn't really justify its features. In my opinion, you can get the same benefits from Google hangout (free) or even a Slack call if you are already paying for the software.

Our overall experience with GoToMeeting has been great. However, the cost moving forward is hard to justify as other software makers are building screen sharing and conference call features into their products (Slack, Teams).
I love the ability to quickly schedule conference calls, share my screen with other users, and ask others to share their screen with me. We often review photographs with customers and having the screen sharing function is invaluable.
Our users often experience technical problems when installing the software. Sometimes, the share mouse and keyboard feature doesn't work.

GoTo meeting has been helpful in presenting our product to customers through online web sessions as well as team communications. We have employees working in 4 main locations across the US and GoTo is a great tool for easy communication.
The wide range of features. I like that you can join from desktop or mobile, share webcam/audio, and present your screen. I haven't been able to match that functionality using Hangouts or Slack calls.
How frequently it has issues: we're constantly dealing with an inability to join a meeting, webcams not showing up when they should, and other issues requiring multiple attempts to get a successful meeting set up.

Overall great experience. The pricing is perfect, especially for smaller businesses. Definitely can firmly recommend this product.
The best feature is the pricing. Even the most expensive options are great prices. We use Slack for messaging but for phone meetings and sharing screens etc this is the end-all for us.
Very rarely the audio quality can be a bit mediocre but other than that no complaints. The pros outweigh the cons by a longshot.

We use it for our daily standups, but our team isn't very into it anymore, so we're planning to change to something else.
I like the launch speed. Also, it's not taking much space in my Macbook. I can't say I have a lot of thing that I like about it.
Like I mentioned in the title, it always small bugs. We also use cisco, slack and zoom, and even tough we use the same network for all of them, gotomeeting has always the worst quality between them.

My current company uses Skype, Teams and Slack, which I find are all more intuitive programs than GoToMeeting. My previous company utilized GoToMeeting and people had a lot of trouble with connectivity, call quality and access. I don't recommend this tool.
The link is easy to generate and follow and it does do the basic task of allowing for multiple people to be a call. Installing the app is quick.
The quality of the call is not clear and the UI is not helpful. On the mobile version, there's no way to see a different set of people than what's populated. The orientation is displayed incorrectly on the mobile version as well.

Keep in mind slack was not necessarily built for immediate contact like a phone or text messaging, but I find the team responds quickly enough over time.
The ability to group chat with my team at any moment through-out the day is a game changer!
I would like to get more functionality to the meetings software. My company is all over the map with Meeting Software. We use GoTo Meetings, Slack, and RingCentral Meetings.

Communication, collaboration, freedom of speech, social interaction, easy remote work, ability to share quick facts, ability to collect groups for specific topics.
In today's world of a more remote and cross functional team, communication is increasingly important and technology has needed to improve to support it. Slack enables my office to not only maintain close and effective communication with man remote team members, it also encourages a collaborative and social work environment. Conversations and channels are not strictly work related, but also help the team get to know each other on a personal level. Additionally, Slack offers us a simple way to share knowledge, through articles, posts, random thoughts etc..... The channel function easily streamlines lines of communication related to various business units and topics.
I sometimes wish I could format text within chats, aside from that I have zero complaints. It would be great if Slack came out also with a GoTo Meeting line conference line offering, as it would be nice to keep all of my client calls within Slack, opposed to another 3rd party.

I like it and very impressed, it is very good especially working multiple teams and team members. Easy to update everyone in channel, it keeps history of messages. Also you can "pin" the message to find it easily.
1. Multiple team members even with different team can communicate and collaborate very easily. 2. Concept of channel is very good. 3. Screen sharing and calling facility is also available.
missing add-on like "Add Skype meeting" which helps scheduling meeting and create virtual temporary room to join the meeting.

Collaboration, online meeting, message board.
With slack you can organize and collaborate within one easy platform. Group chat allows for an entire team to get together and discuss things - each group chat can be organized by category. Private chat, video conferencing, and file sharing - all make Slack an extremely robust communication platform. At it's core, Slack is an instant messaging/meeting platform. But the UI and functionality are extremely familiar to younger workers, and work very well towards project development/project management tasks. Integrated compatibility with other business applications is great as well. Being able to coordinate and organize groups of people from often diverse locations seamlessly is crucial for todays business environment, and Slack does an excellent job at it.
I've experienced some difficulty getting some applications connected to Slack on my own.. but Support was able to assist me satisfactorily.

I love that slack is the goto place for communication with our company. I sometimes work from home and I always feel connected via slack. It's smart, easy to use, and works perfectly for my needs.
I do wish slack did a better job at highlighting it's unique features. There are so many shortcuts that I'm only just getting used to. It would have been great to have been more aware of these sooner. Perhaps slack could have fun, did you know tidbits in the app that were easily discoverable.

Overall I’m a big fan of slack. I love using it to communicate with my colleagues.
Slack us a great business messaging tool. It has a modern looking interface and has the latest features. It’s customizable to fit every users unique needs
The only con is it’s video meeting capabilities. It is inferior to messaging apps like teams which allow many people to participate in a meeting at once.

Overall, I won't recommend anybody to use the slack because the features offered by the slack are very limited and can be found in any other software.
Private group and file sharing are the best features of slack. You can also have one to one chat, as well as group chat option.
Slack lacks a lot of features such as call and meeting schedule. If you it in your organization then you must use another product for calling and meeting scheduling.
