There isn't really anything that I dislike about Voip.ms other than the menus can be a bit confusing to navigate because there are so many options and settings but you eventually get used to them.

Again, regarding only the new softphone initial release: It only works with the "master" voip.ms account, not with a sub-account.

Additionally, the ability to customize call routing and integrate with other systems is a huge advantage.

I have extended the functionality to include my own DB-driven anti-telemarketer blocking system by adding in my own custom configured Asterisk instance running under FreeBSD and it was pretty easy to configure a SIP trunk in voip.ms to accommodate this.

There are tons of features including setting up voicemail, call and text forwarding, receiving texts and voicemails as emails, and I think there is even voicemail transcription.

The SIP trunking provides great rate, great wiki documentation to setup everything, no restrictions such as verified caller IDs on outbound (making it useful to forward calls to another phone and preserve caller id)

Also, there should be an option to pay exact amount desired rather than just in increments (i.e. $5, $10, $100, etc).   If a customer wants to pay say $22.43 exactly because say he/she has a credit balance on his/her credit card for that amount and he/she wants to deplete those exact funds, he/she should be allowed to do so.  

Easy setup with my Cisco SBC and simple integration to my Cisco Callmanager, Cisco Contact Center Express, Cisco Unity Connection and Cisco Emergency E911 systems.

I wish they could have only one domain to point to and then do routing to the appropriate server on their end.   If one of their servers goes offline, you must manually change the server across all your devices.

I used to run a home brew phone system that I configured using ATAs, UNIX servers, and assorted POTS phones.

Absolutely sensational experience, low cost, competitive pricing models and coupled with an onsite PBX or Desk IP phone, the operations are extremely less cost than other cloud-based solutions.

I've used them as a backing provider for softphones and various physical IP phones—they were a breeze to set up and offered plenty of routing and IVR options.

VoIP.MS manages all our operations, and routes calls to all sorts of softphones, SIP clients and more.

The API is a big deal as well as it enabled us to write a SMS/MMS interface application that meets our specific needs.  

There are almost too many IP-voice features offered, and new feature sets are rolled out periodically. If you're wishing for some specific capability, look to VoIP.ms first, as it's the mostly likely platform to have implemented it.

It is a powerful telcom system with worldclass support.

Setting rates for being a reseller is confusing, the reseller can set rates based on fractions of a penny or by percentage.
