To set up the phone number and make it functional, they asked for a bill of utility for the business, which is a brand-new business.

I imagine how difficult to deal with them; moreover, if you have a business number that your clients used to contact you on, Zadarma can cancel it at any time and ruin your business !!!

Our documents were rejected because the date “no longer matched”—but that’s only because support replies once every two days!

They have price in dollars, but for one reason my account was in Euros but my prices where HIGHER than in Dollars - Why? Because Zadarma is Zadarma and those are their values.

It's really inadvisable to use this platform.

I have completed verification in a timely manner, but account is still offline.

Next to that my customers do not recognize the sms are not able to respond directly to my SMS-es anymore (the recipient cannot respond to the 'Zadarma.com' sender-id).

We use SMS to respond to customers and for that having our local (virtual) number as the sender-id is crucial.

I used another software before and we had a lot of bad calls, lines bad, etc, but now, we use Zadarma, the lines are very good.

Zadarma support just states that it is not guaranteed (to me 'not guaranteed' means it does not work all the time, but currently it NEVER works) which is quite unsatisfying.

The sender-id that is used currently is 'Zadarma.com', which looks very unprofessional to my customers.

More than once my recipients just discarded of my SMS-es because they did not recognize the sender.

They often have numbers in stock for my rural location or they can procure one within a few days.

I have extended the functionality to include my own DB-driven anti-telemarketer blocking system by adding in my own custom configured Asterisk instance running under FreeBSD and it was pretty easy to configure a SIP trunk in voip.ms to accommodate this.

There are tons of features including setting up voicemail, call and text forwarding, receiving texts and voicemails as emails, and I think there is even voicemail transcription.

The SIP trunking provides great rate, great wiki documentation to setup everything, no restrictions such as verified caller IDs on outbound (making it useful to forward calls to another phone and preserve caller id)
