Pros

What I enjoy most about Zoom is its ease of use, ability to record meetings, and its affordable price point.
The cost benefit is very good and ease of connection, I can share the screen during meetings, and excellent for my work.
The fact that it is easy to learn, as well as the quit and helpful response from customer service. I am glad it was recommended to me and I will continue to help others by doing the same.

Pros

Easy to do recording of sessions and has a special attendance (roll count) section for better customer use. Has a great playback quality enabling better recollection for later.
The video sharing, screen sharing and breakout room features are great for virtual events. The audio is good when it works and the chat and poll features are useful too.
My overall experience with Adobe Connect has been extremely positive. Admittedly I do not use it too frequently, but when I use it I'm always impressed by its ease of use and its numerous functions.

Cons

I think we were so overwhelmed by the zoom at this bad time that there is nothing to worry about.
If I do have problems sharing my screen, etc. then I have to typically leave zoom and re-enter the meeting. It always solves the problem but is an annoyance.
There has been a few times where Zoom doesn't work well with my internet and I'll randomly be dropped from calls with no warning.

Cons

Had issues with getting set up to start, however, when I was doing so, there was a known problem with their testing server. When trying to run a test connection, it would always fail.
Adobe Connect does not work well on a mobile phone with all the pod being shrunk and many features downgraded. I also know that this software is very expensive.
The only downside to this is that at first things can appear to be a bit cluttered.

Otherwise, I think Zoom is best in class. I've used Webex, GoTo, Adobe Connect, MyGoTo, GoGo, Google, and some other really obscure stuff. So much better.

Pros

So, so, so much better than all of the older solutions that are out there. Not much needs to be installed, video chat is seamless, sharing screens is so easy. Even less technical users can pick up Zoom quickly.

Cons

A couple of small UI type things that can be improved. Specifically, the "share" for screens could be a better icon and maybe have some sort of help text to be more clear.

Simply the best quality video conferencing software out there, bar none!

Zoom has solved our woes of offering webinars at scale. We have successfully held webinars with 500+ participants and no lag or quality issues whatsoever. This replaced Adobe Connect as our webinar platform of choice.

Pros

Absolutely, by a country mile, the best quality video & audio and least latency for any videoconferencing solution that we've tried. It beats even Google Hangouts which is already very fast and clear. Functionality is great - file sharing, screen sharing, private & group chat, polling, breakout rooms, recording, etc. are all there and work seamlessly.

Cons

Really nothing negative to say. Perhaps breakout rooms are a bit complicated for the average user but to be honest, we rarely use them for webinars and videoconferences so it's not a deal breaker at all.

Switched from Adobe Connect. Better?

Pros

Most of my classmates are fans of this and see it as a huge upgrade over what we previously used, which was Adobe Connect. As far as simplicity, it is a lot more straightforward and it is generally easier to use. Haven't had any connectivity issues either.

Cons

I have two main complaints. 1) It takes WAY too long to get logged in. You have to dial a random number, then there's a pin and all of this, and it generally takes long. With Adobe connect, upon login a number would call you and you were immediately in. 2) There is no pause option! When having to use the bathroom or very quickly step away, we were able to do that with Adobe Connect. Not having that option is rough, especially with 3 hour classes and personal life issues coming up.

Overall, I haven't experienced a better platform out there and will continue to use Zoom as frequently as possible in the near future.

Pros

This platform allows for more flexibility than its competitors, such as Adobe Connect or GoTo Meeting. One has the option to interact with a document in full screen, move around the toolbars and video bubbles of participants, or minimize them. The options are unlimited.

Cons

Its level of flexiblity does require some multi-tasking for beginner presentors and participants that may be confusing at first.

Pros

The product is easy to use. The download was quick and it doesn’t make the computer lag which is something Skype would do.

many times its tough to access multi-user because of mic issues if we are using in the same room. also when we use this in the phone we are not able to access other apps

Cons

very rarely, zoom has connection and sound issues. usually, those issues resolve by themselves within 10-15 mins which is fast, but still causes inconvenience.

Easy to use Can be download easily from the Internet (for free) A lot of people can connect to the call/video chat (which is not always possible for other conference call services for technical reasons)

Opens a different window everytime you want to connect to a call Sometimes links don’t work and you have to use codes / passwords to connect

Zoom is a very good program that deserves its widespread use although it could be better.

Pros

I like the ability for one to screen share the most with zoom.

Cons

It can be very frustrating to connect with passwords.

Collaborating on video's.Sharing ideas .Much easier to use

Pros

Good for video conferencing and online classes, meating, etc. Especially during the pandemic. Really love zoom its fun and easy to use. I 100% recommend it

Cons

Bluetooth bug. I sometimes can't connect to my audio.

Average. Nothing incredible

Pros

I didn’t find anything unusual about it. It’s just another meeting tool.

Cons

It’s not as popular as Zoom and Webex and when rest of the colleagues and stakeholders prefer Zoom, AdobeConnect has lost its worth and popularity.

Aided in virtual presentation facilitation, communication bridging and learning enabling in the workplace. I enjoy using it and I recommend.

Pros

I like the fact that it allowed me connect with my colleagues from all over the world to meet and discuss pending issues and way forward as regards our organization. the screen-sharing capability is also impressive.

Cons

Connectivity issues happen sometimes with my device. Also, some document formats are not compatible with screen-sharing.

Complex Video Conferencing Tool

Overall I think this software performs similarly to zoom and based on the ease of deployment, I prefer to stick with the familiar zoom software. I think this is best for someone who needs more of a teaching environment than quick video conferences or meetings.

Pros

I believe that this software may be good for someone with more technical knowledge. I found it a bit challenging to use compared to zoom, especially as a senior. Once I got it working, it had good video and audio performance. I liked the interactive chat feature

Cons

I needed to hire someone to help me set it up for my business.

Terrible platform

This either needs a major overhaul or to be tossed aside as Zoom and BBCollaborate are superior products.

Pros

The only thing that seemed helpful was that the facilitator could post a link in it and it would automatically open to that page for us to see the external content and view the videos.

Cons

Basically everything. All of our HR workshops are being delivered through this, I suspect because we've paid for the license and the admin restrictions on all of our computers give permission for it to be installed. It's terrible. It doesn't work properly on iPads at all, when I did a search for instructions on how to use it, it didn't work through the web browser or the app. When I used it through my remote desktop that meant I couldn't use the mic since my desktop is away from my home station. The layout of the platform is outdated and clunky by decades.

A great conferencing and learning platform

Adobe Connect is a great solution for us when hosting or attending webinars or virtual training sessions.

Pros

Adobe Connect is great for webinars as it has a virtual file sharing and multiple modules that can be customized to the host's needs.

Cons

Because of the number of features included, it is costlier than other conferencing platforms such as Zoom and GoToMeeting.

I work online and used to use Adobe Connect as my online office.

I used this as my online office. I no longer use this. We have switched to Zoom.

Pros

I liked the different screens you can use. I also really liked the doorbell feature to know when someone came to my online office.

Cons

I did not feel like Adobe was very user friendly. It was hard to understand how to work. Maybe I just did not give it enough time.

Overall, Adobe Connect has allowed our company to seamlessly transition from an in-office to in-home workplace. We needed something very easy to use, but also something with the security to back it up. I would highly recommend Adobe Connect.

Pros

The interface Adobe Connect offers makes it incredibly easy to use and the security of the software was exactly what we were looking for as our company continues our remote work load.

Cons

Personally, I have not seen one thing to complain about after weeks of use. Adobe Connect is another great product in the Adobe world.

In the end I found it too buggy to continue its use.

Pros

I appreciated that this software allowed us to work as a group and have online learning. Great alternative for remote learning.

Cons

It got to a point where I found the software buggy. Audio was challenging. I found it wasn’t as dependable as teams or zoom.

Overall works well for our business purpose.

Pros

Allows meetings of 20-30 people. Sometimes bandwidth issues so we do pros and cons of each platform (ie, zoom, gotomeetings,etc). Like the separate presenter chat and ability of breakout sessions.
