I’ve since switched to another provider, and the problems have stopped.

My account is associated with the invoice number #4112485, and upon reviewing my billing statement, I was dismayed to discover that I have been consistently billed for the AutoScale plan, even though my website has not been utilizing any resources that warrant such charges.

Due to the problems with Cloudways I have moved my hosting to another provider where I have a much faster server (and the website is at least 2x faster), and the cost is HALF of what I was paying at Cloudways. If you're considering Cloudways, DON'T DO IT.

My only minor complaint is with the Cloudflare add-on, since its technical details are not clearly specified for an advanced CLoudflare user and connoisseur and all in all it’s cheap and works within a few minutes but lacks all kind of customisation and the default configuration is (understandably) quite conservative.

Their "clone app" feature will copy your production Wordpress site and spin up a new staging site with a few clicks and it does a good job.

I’m very happy with Cloudways thanks to the very easy and very swift procedure to create an account and deploy a server and its applications (Wordpress in my case, production + staging environments).

Please acknowledge the receipt of this complaint at your earliest convenience and provide a timeline for resolution.

Real usage performances have been outstanding and without issues so far, even the one of the basic tiers can handle without hiccups my website which counts more than 200 blog posts.

The stack on Cloudways is a bit dated and does not deliver the kind of real-world results one would expect from an application in 2022 - particularly considering the premium you pay for resources.

They are terrible at communicating such a drastic measure they are taking absolutely disregarding how it'll affect the customer.

I dealt with 10s of hosting companies and none of them were so careless towards their customers.

There is also a one click interface for vertical scalability, should you need more performance (even for a limited time, like a product launch or such).

I have contacted them at least 10+ times via email / online chat to try and get this fixed but noone cares.

Server management is something I can do without a GUI or a tool to assist but it's something I don't need to do when you have a service like SpinupWP. When I started my agency, Blunt Notion, this is EXACTLY what I needed.

I've spent the last few months working on a data publishing website that has some slightly peculiar requirements re: external database configuration.

It makes setting up sites for production, staging & testing a breeze, as you can easily duplicate sites and copy them between different servers if needed.

It's great to be able to manage a lot of aspects of web server management in a clean, streamlined UI that I used to have to do manually through the CLI—you can add new sites, set up SFTP users, install SSL certs, set up backups, and update plugins (though I don't update through their interface—I prefer to be a bit more hands-on to make sure things update smoothly and to keep up-to-date with changelogs).

It has a modern and intuitive interface, allowing us to automatically spin up new AWS EC2 instances for WordPress hosting and subsequently create and manage individual WordPress instances much faster than the usual manual process.

SpinupWP is the first tool I've found that has "just worked" for setting up a reliable Wordpress deployment.

Deploying Wordpress infrastructure is a part of the project that takes me away from what I should be working on.

Anytime I have had a question (like how do I not cache a specific wordpress page) they respond in less than 24 hours and I am not even on the most expensive plan as I only have 7 servers.

That includes provisioning Wordpress on a VPS.

I also have a strict personal policy of never writing a (favorable) online review for any kind of incentive.

Was also surprised to see that it handled deploying and upgrading SSL certs without difficulty.

SpinupWP allows us to provide a consistent, high quality, server platform for our sites.

This has meant moving host more frequently than I would like (which is zero times).

Love the automated backups which makes it super simple to have your site backed up to an alternative hosting provider and restored in no time at all.

I've contacted support for various things unrelated to SpinupWP and the team are still willing to help, and genuinely useful help.

Also, the fact that server logs are integrated is a HUGE benefit—no need to SSH into your environment when you can see and manage it all in one place.

There have been a couple of hangups with server identity management in the workflow, but that's some really deep stuff that I don't even think I want access to.

It used to be a relatively time-consuming process, but with SpinUp, it really makes it as simple as a few clicks after setting up the instance.

My experience with SpinupWP has been 99% positive. If there has ever been a failure in the system, it's because I got impatient and neglected to read the documentation before trying a new feature.

Backups are much easier. and can be automatic or manual, which saves space for sites that don't change much.

Managed hosting is great, but I often find myself more knowledgeable then the people working the helpdesks, so this is a perfect setup for us.

They also are really good at helping with random questions, something as simple as how to setup a staging site.  

We needed to setup an AWS EC2 instance for a WordPress deployment.

Clean interface, flexibility in setting up new sites (with or without WordPress), easy deployment.

We spend around $100+ per month, but it also means I don't have to hire a full time DevOps team member.

That caused a CPU spike which crashed my server regularly.

Initially, they did not support Graviton EC2 instances, which caused some setbacks for us.

I've ended up writing about how I was able to work with them, and another SaaS to solve a problem that brought CPU usage down.
