Cloudways is a managed cloud hosting platform, which helps businesses in eCommerce, IT, and media sectors launch, manage, and maintain applications and servers. Features include automated backups, IP whitelisting, two-factor authentication, team management, patching, and real-time monitoring.

The platform’s SSD-based hosting enables businesses to reduce page load time of websites and enhance the process of data retrieval from built-in caches including Memcached, Varnish, and Nginx. It helps administrators recover website crashes using an auto-healing restart feature. Network engineers can use Cloudways to expand server storage space and scale resources such as RAM or CPU. With the deployment of OS-level firewalls and a built-in SSL, supervisors can filter malicious traffic and secure data transmission.

Cloudways offers integration with various third-party platforms such as Slack, HipChat, GitHub, WordPress, Drupal, New Relic, and more. The platform allows users to securely access servers and update files or folders via SSH and SFTP, generate individual SFTP credentials for teams, and perform application and server cloning.
