I needed a way to bridge the gap between my online booking software and CRM software. Zapier made it easy to have bookings sent directly to my CRM. And it is part of the free features!
Nothing. It’s great! It functions similarly to IFTTT but IFTTT does not work with tave or acuity scheduling. Zapier does!

Much more functional, robust, and reliable than IFTTT.
It's pricey but worth it. There are some features that need to be added.

Zapier is much more complex than IFTTT. I find it very helpful to be able to specify every little detail. Zapier, currently, also seems to integrate into more sites/apps than IFTTT.
Zapier would be easier to understand if I better understood some of the terms. I wouldn't say this is a con for the site, but for me personally. For someone looking for a user-friendly interface, IFTTT may be more appealing.

Love that I have the flexibility to grab a ready-made integration or code my own webhooks.
Price point. It's worth it, but other services, like IFTTT, are free.

We are connecting Mailchimp to our CRM system. We use Apptivo, so there are several applications that we use Zapier for integration purposes.
Zapier allows for a plug and play interface between various SaaS systems currently in use at our site. The number of connections provided is extensive.
There is a cheaper version of connectivity: Ifttt - but this "free" version only allows for one trigger.

Easy to use, it guides you through everything. The best integration/automation software out there.
You can virtually connect any softwares together to create seamless online marketing funnels. I use it for tasks like adding new leads to google spreadsheets and adding Facebook Lead Ad leads to email lists.
Some softwares are not connected with Zapier meaning I've had to use other alternatives such as IFTTT.

Zapier allows a ton of customization for automation flows. I enjoy how granular the data input / output can be. It also has compatibility with lots of apps I use.
The price doesn't make sense. IFTTT offers a very similar service for free.

Overall an excellent product, and well worth considering if you have the budget.
Huge array of connectors, and the ability to use arbitrary code if you're a developer in the actions Zapier runs is really helpful. If you're looking for a quick and easy way to set up a webhook in Python, without bothering to set up an entire web server just to do it, Zapier works really nicely. The pre-prepared DPA for GDPR compliance is nice, too.
In comparison to IFTTT's old free plan, Zapier's always seemed a little limited. However, now that IFTTT Pro is around, and the free plan at IFTTT is limited consequentially, Zapier's offering looks a lot more attractive.

I swear this service works like magic. It's incredible the connections you can make between apps. I've used it to automate tedious tasks in no time.
There is no free plan. IFTTT (a slightly similar service) does have a free plan.

Way better than IFTTT and a must for anyone serious about automating their social media management.
I've used IFTTT in the past and it was unreliable (tasks often stopped running) that until I discovered Zapier. First of all, Zapier has a tonne of already defined automated tasks and a lot of services to interact with. Use it mostly to manage our social media presence, and it works very well.
It's a bit difficult to understand it at first and depending on how many tasks you need to run each month it can get expensive.

I use Zapier to add blog posts from my Squarespace site (through the RSS field 'zap') to MailChimp as a new draft email campaign. This turns a laborious task into a no-time-at-all task that I often forget is even happening. For me, Zapier is all about connecting tools I love together, so I don't have to enter data more than once. Time saved is a very good benefit.
Zapier makes it possible for someone like me, who knows nothing about coding web apps and using APIs, to connect two apps together. I can build automation workflows between apps using a simple visual editor which is very nice. The app selection is vast and the free offering is generous.
IFTTT does similar things to Zapier in a more user-friendly interface. Zapier can be a bit convoluted and more powerful than I need sometimes. Where the two apps do the same thing, I prefer to use IFTTT, but Zapier handles FAR more apps, so it is more useful to me on a daily basis.

I've tried Zapier as a solution for integrating our workflow. Due to our own limitations, I've ended up using a custom solution
Zapirer is a very complete solution for integrating services, in the same line as IFTTT, but in a more professional way.
Zapier has the concept of recipes, but they are not as clear to setup the competitor's solution

Zapier is a great application that I would recommend to anyone look to automate or optimize certain workflows and processes.
Zapier is a fantastic application that offered all of the functionality we enjoyed with IFTTT, but with much more robust options - including fewer restraints, better API automation, more integrations, etc. While IFTTT is a great application, I would consider Zapier the option worth paying for, and most certainly the enterprise solution of the two.
There are an overwhelming number of options, choices, integrations, etc. I don't have any great ideas for how to simplify this, but there are countless opportunities to get more value out of Zapier that are likely lost in the noise.

Zapier is still the leader for integrations, but other apps such as Integromat, Pabbly Connect, IFTTT and Integrately are slowly adding more integrations for a cheaper price.
Out of all the automation apps I've tried, Zapier is the easiest and most intuitive to use, and has the most integrations to connect with.
From my understanding, they might have contracts that make them the exclusive integration partner for the app, which isn't great as a whole for the internet, especially because I don't think they give the most bang for the buck.

Zapier, overall is a must have in a company which uses a lot of free tools for their productivity or for the communication side.
Zapier is a software that combines a lot of platform and connect them between each other, it’s pretty much like IFTTT but in a more professional way
Zapier has a delay in the execution process and it may occur some issues like for Tweet announcements using a Google Sheet, the update delay might be problematic

Great product that really focuses on providing a robust environment for monitoring system, application and data points and triggering an action. They are everything I wish IFTTT could be and more.
The recently fix my major complaint which was an overly complex interface with a setup wizard like interface. I guess due to the complexity of the software we can only be so picky with our expectations!

I know that IFTTT is a competitor, but Zapier does a similarly good job of structuring automation into triggers and actions (If this, then that). We've used Zapier mostly for automating emails.

Great tool for automating workflows and eliminating the need to get developers involved.
Zapier lets you tie lots of SAAS products together without the need for Dev time. If they have an API and integrate with Zapier then you can do pretty much anything. For instance, you could tie an email lead from Unbounce to a row in a Google Doc and then send out a text via Twilio.
Bit of a steep learning curve if you've never used a tool like this or IFTTT before. However, their customer service team is super helpful in making sure that you get your Zaps working.

This software is like IFTTT for all the cloud software you use. It has opened up functionality that would otherwise be impossible without it. Zapier is essential to the functioning of our website and e-commerce business.
Zapier has an extensive library of applications it integrates you and has enabled me to combine products in ways that no one else does. The functionality it enables if amazing and helps me connect multiple apps together to run our business. It even has great formatting features to make sure all data wires up nicely.
There are some products that still lack a Zapier integration that are quite widely used.

We use Zapier to automate several processes and hand off tasks between users. Within Slack I use the integration to add starred message as tasks in Todoist - this allows me to quickly and easily flag messages/questions as tasks when I am off the clock and have a reminder to follow up when I'm back at work without needing to re-read the prior evening's messages. We also use it to push scheduled events between calendaring platforms - currently we are an Office365 organization, but some systems we use need to link to Google calendars. Through Zapier I have it push any events created in Outlook/Office 365 over to Google. It is only one way, but that is enough for our needs and avoids human error/oversight in keeping two calendar systems in sync.
I like that Zapier gives you a decent level of control (not too many variables or too few options), and integrates easily and most importantly reliably with the other systems and platforms that I use.
I don't have any complaints really, it can take a few more clicks to set something up than what is possible using IFTTT but the more granular control and overall reliability more than make up for that.

This is IFTTT on steroids. I love it and have been using it for years. It was great for plugging all out APIs and software into one hub at work. It's very easy to personalzie, love it.
It's a bit disapointing that they don't have all the compatibility with apps but they are getting closer to supporiting more and more through each update.

Zapier is an essential component to building an efficient and effective integrated technology environment for your small business. This day and age you can find a technology solution to almost any business activity or problem. However, it's easy to get lost when selecting the right app (enter GetApp), and then making everything work together in the most efficient way possible (enter Zapier).
- Huge repository of apps to choose from - Simple and intuitive interface, with 'zaps' (workflows) based on triggers, actions, and searches - Multi-step zaps allows you build advanced workflows - Built-in apps like formatter, SMS, and schedule, allow you to level-up your 'zaps' (a zap is essentially a workflow)
- Limited integration with devices (hint: use IFTTT for that purpose) - Can be frustrating if an app doesn't have the triggers or actions that you want/need. However, this beef is typically with the app developer, rather than Zapier itself.

I've used Zapier to automate several tasks for customer onboarding in the past and it has been extremely helpful. Essentially a middle-man connector between two systems to trigger IFTTT statements was hugely beneficial. I appreciated the variety of native integrations it had with other systems.
When I first learned how to use Zapier I was unfamiliar with the product and was not given any formal training — luckily it was intuitive enough that I was able to take full advantage of what I needed it to do for my project.

Overall, it worked quickly and efficiently, but ultimately moved to another product as my needs and budget settled in. Would recommend if someone has a long-term integration but not a ton of technical experience. Feels like IFTTT but with a little more polish.
The ease with which someone, without much technical knowledge, could fire up and integration was great. Mostly visual, with very little technical know-how required. Also a Great library of pre-defined tasks to help folks get started with ideas.
The price is pretty high for what you get. Some of that has to do with the ease of use that it brings to the table, but especially if you're paying month-to-month, it's an incredibly high price.

Zapier quickly connects to a multitude of products out in the market, providing an easy way to set up integrations without any code in most cases. Highly recommended especially for cash-strapped or time-limited teams.
Zapier is so versatile that its integrations have sometimes replaced the need for expensive subscriptions to other products. It's pretty amazing how many products and flows exist for Zapier. It's also really to use. If you're familiar with IFTTT, then you'll be right at home with Zapier.
As with any tool that uses a 'middleman' like zapier, if one of the services on either end of the bridge experience an error, then the information transfer will not happen. This isn't really unique to Zapier, and to its credit, it usually sends out an email to warn you, but it's still something to keep in mind when using these types of products.
