It also takes a forever to open a new file - way too many web-clicks, loading, ancillary pages to fill out it is my least favorite things to do, period!

The credit card services option takes longer than my current provider to get the money deposited into my bank account!

Integration with accounting - this is why I have stuck with Cosmolex.

I like it because now I can accurately track my income and expenses, generate professional invoices, and keep my finances in order all from a single platform.

This must be a FTC violation..... but, I've written probably 20 different emails to Cosmolex employees trying to cancel these services for more than a year, maybe more than 2, and I'm still getting billed for it!

Makes time entry annoying because you often have to double enter information before it "takes".

Payments for multiple clients is also limited

Overall, it’s reliable and user-friendly once you get used to it.

ONE example, timesheets "clear out" already entered data.  

So, 1 person is responsible for generating reports to lawyers.

PC Law is an old system but had this feature.

I also don't like that you can't just "view" reports, everything has to be downloaded and it takes time.   When I contacted support as to why there were lines running through my view report, I was told it was a glitch...like really!!

Cosmolex priorities the taxes and hard cost.

I can propose accounting ideas to my employees after well-done calculations, all thanks to Cosmolex.

Sometimes the clients struggle navigating the client portal, so it is inconvenient taking the time to guide them through the process.

In short, while CosmoLox is easy to use, it is not as comprehensive or feature-rich as some of the other legal case management software programs available on the market. If you are just starting out in the legal field, I would recommend looking for a less expensive product that offers more features and flexibility.

Honestly, I would like to be able to customize them even more to adapt them to the specific needs of my office.

There is no clicking on when you are on a journal, you need to leave the screen and go somewhere else.  

I like it because I can access all the tools and features I need to run my law practice very efficiently.

CosmoLex has provided practice management support for Suresh Law to client our with with their technology, business and real estate law needs.

Also, when creating intake forms, certain blocks on the forms will move to different places and have to be manually adjusted to get them to the right place.

The template settings are super confusing and not user friendly

A few big missing features are the universal search bar, and bulk changes.

CosmoLex is a very helpful software to have in a law firm.

We liked that it appeared to have a bunch of services wrapped up into one--time-keeping for billing, accounting software similar to Quickbooks with an automatic feed into our accounts, and email archiving/practice management.

The two features I would like to see are a client intake form (which might already be part of the platform; I just haven't found it), and a scheduling app where clients can see my available time slots and select which times work for them.

Would like to see a client ledger which incorporates both trust and general expense entries on single page.

We recently needed to transfer a file, and in going to export the emails, we learned that we would need to go into each email, print to PDF, and manually save! When I asked why this wasn't explained in the marketing materials as we would never have used Cosmolex for email storage if we knew that it would require this much work to actually use or access the emails, I was given instructions for how to download the emails from my Outlook account directly.

I like that it is one product for Law Practice Management and Accounting with one price for all features.

This is a good tool for accounting, what's special about it is that it is cloud-based which differentiates it from similar alternatives.

Plaid integration fails at times and needs resetting for bank feed.

We saw the biggest impact in time and billing -- it's easy to mark down the "tiny" slices of time because you are already in the file.  

Billing/Invoicing/Payment management and Account reconciliation features are what I like best -- easy to stay on top of the flow

I found it to be easy to use and the interface was nice to look at.
