Advanced features include:   calendaring triggers with conditional branching, user-programmable multi-practice group set-ups, fast searching, contract management support, mass emailing, support for atypical billing arrangements, client portal support, and embedded links with many types of other software.

The product lost some functionality that I was relying on when it moved from version 1.99x to 2.0x and later.

I continue to be surprised by what I consider to be poor programing/feature choices made in the transition to a different coding platform.

Third, when I have a problem, I often get immediate attention from support, and it never takes long for a response by someone who truly knows what he is talking about.

It assumes that the user will have high-end tech support in-house.

The product absolutely works, contrary to what another reviewer said.

We use Clio and quickbooks and all transactions have to be inputted a certain way or it will disrupt the accounting.

Worst of all, after setting up a document template in Clio Grow for client intake with our office (30 people), Clio restricted some of the functionality of that document making it even more awkward, to the point where it's unusable for us.

Clio does not migrate this data.   Despite me saying this is the one report I want, and being reassured I could get it.   When they could not generate it, they just told me to hire an outside consultant.  

I would like to be able to email things to the maildrop address from anyone within my domain.   And I would like to be able to e-file from my Clio profile EVEN IF my service email address is NOT my profile email address.

Not only do I organize my digital client files in Clio, I track all my payments and trust accounting, I am able to have team member accountability through task tracking, we have regular and effective communication with the clients through the Clio Client portal.   When I'm using Clio, it helps me be a better lawyer, it helps me focus more on my clients, and keep my clients happy through great communication.

I started with simple document automations with Manage and Clio continues to acquire new features to aid in running my firm and continues to refine those features.

It has evolved into a whole practice tool, including matter management, automation and CRM management.
