We absolutely needed a eDiscovery search platform for one of our larger cases. All the other eDiscovery platform providers were far to expensive for us and our clients. We needed to be able to review enormous amounts of data, and we are able to do so. We are very satisfied.
The customer support is highly responsive and excellent, as is the value. Nextpoint is geared to meet the needs of a small firm like ours.
Some of the search features are not intuitive, but I also get fast answers. The highlighting color system does not seem to have enough bright colors for my taste, but I may not have figured out how to maximize the use of that feature. Overall it is very easy to learn.

This software makes ediscovery review a breeze.
After searching for months for an affordable and easy to use software, Nextpoint was definitely the winner! The software can either be handled by your in-house IT or by Nextpoint. They offer extensive training, but if you have any questions Nextpoint's customer service is astounding. This software has definitely made discovery review less tedious.

Legal document management and ediscovery turned more simple.
This products integrates smoothly with firm's caseworks, the user interface organizes everything according to its origin, progress and information. There is a huge ammount of features that save time covering reviewing and producing discovery, as well general workload management. The pricing structure and cost relation to value are great.
The legal document management area doesn't include contract management and the ediscovery set of features lacks compliance management.

Very happy with Nextpoint as one of our ediscovery providers, and our clients see tremendous value from using the software.
The pricing structure of Nextpoint simplifies ediscovery and is a tremendous value. Nextpoint's customer service is outstanding and the software is continually improving based on user feedback. A valuable e-discovery tool for law firms of any size.
The software can require technical knowledge and there is a learning curve, but there are ample training videos and documentation.

We've been pleased with Nextpoint overall. The "all you can use" pricing model means we're free to use the software for all of our cases without fear of sticker shock when clients receive the bill.
The software is relatively user-friendly, and the online help features are particularly helpful. We've also enjoyed our interactions with Nextpoint staff, who are uniformly responsive, friendly, and helpful.
Most of our concerns about the software have been addressed in updates over the years we've been using the platform. That said, we acknowledge Nextpoint isn't as powerful as some of the top-tier ediscovery platforms. But it's not priced like those platforms either, so the trade-off is a fair one.

I have used numerous ediscovery platforms ranging from Summation (the old clunker) to Relativity (the Ferrari). I'd put NextPoint somewhere in the realm of a high end American made luxury car. I find NextPoint to be the easiest to use as well as more importantly train on. The platform is very intuitive and easy to use. The customer service is top notch and attentive to our evolving needs.

The representatives at Nextpoint are top notch! They care about your success and the setup of your company. I've spent a decent amount of time in the program, but still consider myself a newbie to the eDiscovery software and all it has to offer. The more you utilize it, the easier it becomes and the more you learn. In addition, the associates learned Nextpoint in no time and all provided positive feedback on the ease of access and tagging documents. Nextpoint is a software that bridges the gap between someone new to eDiscovery, an advanced user or someone in between.
First and foremost the format of training and ease of access for "how to" thereafter. The material to train is provided through short mini videos and accompanying articles broken down by category. This allows each person to go at their own pace. On our firm's last eDiscovery program the representative flew to our office and taught it in person. I was lost 2 hours into training. The next 3 days were a blur and I learned nothing. At all times Nextpoint provides access to their video/written guides (I've used this too many times to count!). They are precise and easy to find. Features to date that are beneficial are the analytics page for projects, OCR'd documents upon import, ability to search and create review folders based on that search, adding outside reviewers and reports on exports. Moving to a cloud-based system has been very beneficial for us as a firm. It can take longer for upload/downloading, but that's to be expected. It's more accessible for us and clients.
-Documents export on a production in random order. It's a routine issue with opposing counsel (understandably) and one we have no control over. Nextpoint allows documents to be exported chronologically. Chronological is good, but only with the company or category by which it's associated (i.e., bank, medical, email, etc.). -There are no plans for HEIC files to be supported, so a document image is created. -Redactions are done on a page by page basis. Bulk redaction is a paid for service. Redaction features, in its full capacity, should be part of a user's plan.

Nextpoint's software is easy to use an intuitive software to be used during the ediscovery process. I do not have an IT department but was able to navigate and use the software without difficulty. The training was excellent and the team is very responsive. I would highly recommend Nextpoint to my friends and colleagues.

As a boutique litigation firm (4 lawyers), we've had an excellent experience with Nextpoint. The service has scaled well to our particular ediscovery project needs. It's easy to learn and use and helped us efficiently work through large amounts of records. The customer service has been great and having a dedicated customer support person to field any issues is a nice touch. Lastly, being a cloud-based service, it complements our other legal software such as Clio (for timekeeping).

Unexpectedly pleasant, confidence building, aned educational.
Nextpoint's most attractive quality is not its numerous industry-leading features; it's the first-class, personalized support provided by its competent and kind team. For small firms like ours, feeling valued by your software partner is just as important as the software fulfilling its purpose. The Nextpoint team consistently offers creative solutions for all the extreme edge cases we've encountered. We have never been left without a path forward on complex issues that fall outside the scope of standard eDiscovery software. If you value a white-glove, humanized experience, Nextpoint is undoubtedly the best option in the market.
Pricing for near duplication searches can be vastly improved.

Nextpoint is a good ediscovery tool at a reasonable price. It is intuitive and easy to use. Some of the advanced searching is presently a little clunky (e.g., hard to search more than one grouping of documents at a time), but it is manageable and Nextpoint continually works to improve the tool. Our firm uses Nextpoint regularly on cases both small and very large with good results. The customer service is fantastic--people have been very responsive and, when we've used some of the add-on services, have completed their tasks efficiently. They have also responded to our suggestions regarding functionality improvements.

We have worked with great people from all levels at Nextpoint. Very approachable and responsive.
We don't have a lot of cases that require eDiscovery, but we've noted a definite uptick in the need. I'm only a couple months into using this product and am the administrator. I had very little experience with other platforms run by third-party vendors. What drew us to NextPoint was the ability to manage our matters on our own, which we didn't have when working with vendors. I like how easy it is to set up matters and to customize to each matter's needs. Support is great to work with. I like the Advanced search feature for my new users, it helps them learn how to build searches until they get used to working directly in the search bar. Categories are a nice feature for grouping like items. The new load mapping for load files is great!
Articles in your support center need to be updated. There were many that reference the same types of information, but are different from what the features include now and can contradict information or lead a user to utilize the steps, only to find a process was updated. I've also run into help articles that link to more information and the links no longer work or direct to "page not found" even in some of your more recent articles.

Overall, Nextpoint is the best platform I have used.
Ease of viewing documents, including related documents and attachments. Searching was also very intuitive. The preview feature also made searching for documents much easier.
There was no ability to bulk download search results with bates stamps.

It has made it much cheaper to upload discovery documents into a review platform.
Overall, I have enjoyed using Nextpoint. For me, the biggest selling point for Nextpoint is my ability to do everything on my end without requiring PM time to accomplish things in the platform.
Would like to be able to view .dwg/other native CAD-type files.

What I love about this software is that it allows you to review legal documents with unilimited data hosting and it allows you to organize it and modify it the way you want to and is easier for your team to view. It also allows you to keep track of all the documents, mails, attachments and threads. It also gives you the tranquility that the uploaded files are secure.
It is not a very friendly software, for me and my team it was a little bit hard to take control over the platform.

Nextpoint is an easy to use e-discovery review platform. They make it easy to review thousands of documents with ease.

The software worked well. It was easy to use, simple to learn, and glitch-free. I had no issues requiring customer support, so I cannot speak to that category. Otherwise, it did the job.
Easy to use; simple to learn; no technical problems
The viewing theater did not always allow proper zooming to review documents that were not of a traditional formal. The easy fix was to download the entire document and open it in its native platform.

Saving time with review, fast cloud-based action!
Very user friendly compared to other platforms that I have used previously. The customer support is by far the best I've ever had! Cloud-based makes this platform so easy to use while out of the office!
I would prefer all emails automatically attach the attachment when editing in a Bulk Action. I think that should be the standard setting as opposed to having to click Grouped by email family, including related documents and then clicking Email-Family (Emails and attachments).

Benefit of the functionality and capability as a power user to independently and fully control and process your own data. From import, review, searching and native or image document production exports with an easy-to-use cloud-based platform.
Best features are the self-import tools and field mapping; ability to organize your data into custom folders and custom export settings.
Just a few. Difficult to see original client folder structure of how data except in a metadata field; need custom placeholder pages; cost and pricing option to host data on month-to-month basis or in an online storage state.

We have been pleased overall with the product but do with there was more one on one training available at reasonable costs.
The cost being based on users only and not the amount of data makes this program very beneficial so that we can assist smaller clients that may not have the money to support an e-discovery platform otherwise.
It is not the easiest software to learn so anytime we add a user for a matter there are extensive amounts of hours that need to be dedicated to training and it makes attorneys not want to learn it.
Thanks for the feedback, Natalie! We are constantly striving to make training and onboarding as smooth and accessible as possible. I do want to note, Nextpoint offers free weekly training which new users may find useful as they are first learning the basics. Sign-ups for the weekly training can be found in the New User Guide at support.nextpoint.com. Additionally, our Help Center is full of training and specific workflow videos which you may find helpful as you continue learning and training new users. If there is ever specific content or training materials you would like to see added to our Help Center, please feel free to send along to us at support@nextpoint.com. Thanks again! Annie

My cases average in excess of 50,000 documents with some reaching 1 million (with over 1 TB held by Nextpoint for the past 4 years and all we pay is a per user fee each month.) Nextpoint has allowed us to review productions fast and efficiently creating production logs and privilege logs directly within the system as part of the export. This alone has saved us from requesting extensions of time and keeping our cases within the original trial deadlines helping our clients reach resolutions much faster. I cannot imagine not using nextpoint.
In the paperless office environment we all live in it is essential that discovery not be priced per storage needs. Nextpoint's per user fee billing saves our clients money and helps us budget our discovery costs regardless of the size of the case.
Exchanging documents with other lawfirms under an ESI agreement can be cumbersome as each platform determines the standard production an this has been a problem in some of our cases. The industry needs to agree on a single standard to avoid this or build in export templates for the largest services. With that said the Support staff is always there to help.
