TABS Software has given us a streamline to our billing, bookkeeping, collections and reporting tools.

With that being said, the things that irritate me with Tabs3 are minor implementation scenarios that could be streamlined. But the end-user does not feel that pain on a large job.

My overall experience with Tabs3 has been over a 25 year span where I have sold, installed, customized and trained end-users all over the United States.

It handles all the complex accounting stuff easily, which makes me feel confident about the security and compliance side of things.

The UI updates they gave were basically masking what the end side of the product functioned off of.

The interface isn't super intuitive, so training new people on it always takes a while.

I have been a paralegal for over 20 years, and I have used several different software applications in law offices.

It is an old (while very efficient) product, and needs to be updated to a post year 2010 platform.

I like the strong billing and accounting features.

The ability to sort reports the way I wanted them, even if it took way too long to generate.

The billing and bookkeeping sides of things are really thorough.

Tabs3 is a complete fully integrated practice accounting software that includes back office, time and billing, and trust accounting.

We could always use a way to be able to print pre-bills that don't include old matters without having to go through a database of 2500 clients to remove those  old matters.  

The software provides a good user experience for us.

The one situation that is a little inconvenient is that not all of the screens that are available in the Tabs3 client exist in PM.

Recently, my computer completely failed and my IT person did not think I could save any of my billing software - my backup was corrupted.   But [SENSITIVE CONTENT] at TABS3 saved me and after 3 days and about 10 hours, had my IT man reinstating my billing software.  

I was happy using Tabs and thought it was great because it was the only one I had ever used.

I miss having simple things like an account register where you can see all the current and future transactions and balances at a glance, like I was used to in Quickbooks.  

The billing format is, by far, the best I have experienced. Once I started using TABS3, I never looked back.

The system is stable and we very rarely run into any software issues.

She was very understandable and was able to find out what needed to be done to get me back up and running at the point that I had left off.

The font size is rather small for me, as I am not a young as I used to be.
