It is an old (while very efficient) product, and needs to be updated to a post year 2010 platform.

The ability to sort reports the way I wanted them, even if it took way too long to generate.

Tabs3 is a complete fully integrated practice accounting software that includes back office, time and billing, and trust accounting.

We could always use a way to be able to print pre-bills that don't include old matters without having to go through a database of 2500 clients to remove those  old matters.  

I miss having simple things like an account register where you can see all the current and future transactions and balances at a glance, like I was used to in Quickbooks.  

I work with the various Tabs3 module, but primarily with PracticeMaster.

User friendliness of the application and scope of the different modules available.

The one situation that is a little inconvenient is that not all of the screens that are available in the Tabs3 client exist in PM.

It is accurate and easy to modify the work that has been done, along with a good set of monthly reports as to what was done for all of my clients.

What had been some very quick entries of information and data in Quickbooks can become quite involved, confusing and time-consuming.

System crashes and they seem to be more concerned about upselling to the better system.     Why would anyone spend more for the better system with a company that can't get the basic system to work

Recently, my computer completely failed and my IT person did not think I could save any of my billing software - my backup was corrupted.   But [SENSITIVE CONTENT] at TABS3 saved me and after 3 days and about 10 hours, had my IT man reinstating my billing software.  

I was happy using Tabs and thought it was great because it was the only one I had ever used.

The billing format is, by far, the best I have experienced. Once I started using TABS3, I never looked back.

She was very understandable and was able to find out what needed to be done to get me back up and running at the point that I had left off.

The font size is rather small for me, as I am not a young as I used to be.

Our firm started with the TABS3 billing software initially, we loved how simple billing a client became and later added the full accounting package.  

Our firm is based in the Bahamas where we have currency and exchange rates that are applicable which prevents us from using some of the features of the software.

Report Writer allows you to create custom reports pulling information from PracticeMaster.  

A little difficult to penetrate at the start but the customer services by phone is exceptional and a refreshing retro to the plethora of chat models that do not hold a candle to phone support that picks up quickly and solves every issue you throw at them. But soon you know the program so well, you're calling support only infrequently..
