Compared to Westlaw Classic, this version of the platform offers more AI-powered features, such as document analysis, a smart citator tool, and integrated litigation analytics.
Westlaw Edge includes a search engine that reduces the need to sort through long lists of results. With WestSearch Plus, legal professionals can search for data using a plain language query as well as Boolean terms and connectors. This tool includes a predictive typeahead that shows relevant recommendations as users type. Other search engine features include dynamic filters, case synopsis, responsive text, plus more. Additional Westlaw Edge tools include the Statutes and Regulations Compare and KeyCite Overruling Risk tools.
