Great. Reasonable pricing and the depth of a Keap/Salesforce with no major issues setting up.
This software is inexpensive yet has the depth and automation processes of software with several times the cost. True power with understanding pricing.
No major cons yet. The plugins and automations when using Zapier or direct integrations can be confusing to navigate.

The automation, but I honestly not gonna renovate my membership
It’s really limited. Infusionsoft by keap is MUCH better. If I have to pay so much for so little then better free mailchimp!

For my size company (startup <10), it's easier to manage, affordable and does what's required better than Infusionsoft/keap, Hubspot and others we've attempted to move to - but keep coming back. There's necessarily a degree of complexity that a non-dedicated resource needs to handle and AC does this really well. It's a tool of my business, not the main event.
It may exist, though I've never stumbled across it, but an opportunity to learn from the benefit of others - we shouldn't have to discover, learn and trial everything if others with similar needs have done so in the past. Remove inefficiency from my adoption of the platform.

I recommend it to my clients regularly. It's a good entry-point option. It might not be able to compete with something like InfusionSoft/Keap for features and more complicated execution, but my guess is 90% of businesses don't need that level of execution.
I am not a heavy user of email campaigns and automations, but I have been frustrated with other products. Either they don't have a reasonable price point for the occasional user, or they're overly complicated and have tons of features I don't need. AC is streamlined and priced in a way that makes sense for my purposes, and it was easy to navigate without being an expert in email automation.
I initially hoped I would be able to build landing pages here, but unless I've missed it, that is not an option. However, I am able to build simple landing pages myself and it just pushed me to go that route. Connecting the form there was easy enough.

I have been very impressed with the responsiveness and the education on the entire experience that is available. I like that I can begin to add automations, campaigns and deals on my own without relying on the specialized knowledge of my VA. This has been one of the best decisions I have made for my business.
In Nov 2020 I transitioned from Keap to Active Campaign. The importing process was smooth and the help was superb. Active Campaign has been very easy to use, setting up automations, deals, contacts, and campaigns. The learning curve to get up and running was short and there was help along the way. And I am not paying an arm and a leg for the services that I need.
I'm really still learning about Active Campaign and don't have any leasts right now

Fantastic!! And extraordinary follow up by their team! Tons of free personal 1:1 help, which I never expected.
Switched to ActiveCampaign from Pipedrive via ConvertKit and Keap - this is something else. I am so impressed. Very easy to use and well laid out, it is easy to create some of the most robust automated customer follow ups I have seen. AC blows the other softwares out of the water. It works, it is easy to understand and it is the most powerful peace of software I have seen in years. I am so pleased my grin goes all the way around my head.
Customer service gave 8-10 min waiting time on their chat support these days, and that is just not good enough.

I had tried several programs once my business outgrew the free plan that I was on with Mailchimp. I found Keap too complex. SendFox too basic. Then there are other platforms like Kajabi and Kartra which offers you the features, but isn't really an Email Management Platform. When I moved to ActiveCampaign in early 2000, it was the one that made the most sense. But now, from what else is out there, I know I am paying too much. It's too much of a hassle to switch and I don't have the time, so I keep using the platform. But eventually, I will reevaluate and move on to something that has better CRM features.
Creating campaigns, automations, email design, all super easy. Contacts management and list creation is also pretty straightforward and works great. High deliverability and good reporting. I like that I can track a contact's engagement history from visits to my site, to what emails were opened, links clicked. And tagging works great.
While they have a CRM option. It's not up to par. I use Pipedrive which is way more than I need, but Activecampaign's poor implementation of CRM is what drop its score big time. Plus it is expensive for what else is in the market. I keep paying because it's too much effort to move to save $20-$50 a month... but if I was looking to come in fresh, I would see what else exists.

The most powerful CRM currently. There are some other products like ActiveCampaign which have gained market in recent times but will need some more effort to come close.
I like the campaign builder the most. No competitor product comes even close to its power. Integration with payment services, actionsets and affiliate program are some other features that I use the most.
Email deliverability has some serious flaws that sometimes tend to effect you in crucial times. Customer Service experience have gone down in recent times after the product was split. I will edit if this changes in the future.
Hi Trinayan, We appreciate you taking the time to leave us a review on Capterra and for your honest feedback! Our customer service support team is here for you 24-7 via chat and phone and we hope to earn your esteem on that front in the future. Best Regards, Sarah, Keap Advocacy Manager

Overall it is a really good system. Offers plenty of customizable actions and journeys you can create for your users/leads etc. The only downside is the cost.
I really liked the fact that this tool really does offer a seamless action-triggered integration that is flexible. Some tools you are limited by what type of action is being taken by the end user but KEAP allows you to choose from a large variety of actions and even create/select your own type of action which is great!
From what I understood, this tool was expensive compared to ActiveCampaign which is what we had originally used before we switched. For the price, might as well have gotten mailchimp.

CRM/ Marketing automation tools are a dime a dozen. This is another one of those. Its very user friendly if you have used any of the others like activecampaign or hubspot you can use this.
It doesn't do much to set itself apart from the other platforms that compete in this space. There needs to be more 3rd party integrations.

I spent 9 years with Infusionsoft and Keap trying to implement a cohesive, smooth, automated marketing system and never got it right. Finally I gave up and went to ActiveCampaign (more useful features for less money!)
I liked Campaign Builder the most but it was so difficult to set up, flawed, and lacking features that I had a love/hate relationship with it.
The limitations of all the features. It seemed that every feature sounded awesome on the surface but when you tried to implement it, there was always something missing or broken that rendered it unusable. Like SMS in campaign sequences or scheduling. Heck, I don't think they even have responsive order forms yet! I had to use ThriveCart.

Infusionsoft's automation possibilities are amazing. It goes way past simple platforms like aweber, mailchimp, constant contact and even activecampaign. You can take a contact all the way from option forms to fully tagged and segmented marketing campaigns and finish the job with an order form waiting for their credit card all in one piece of software for a reasonable cost.
I don't like how I have to change my password every90 days. however, I totally understand that. I wish it worked better on Safari as well (the email campaign feature). I cannot create the emails in Safari, but I can do so on Google Chrome.

I'd advise staying away from this company and sticking to Activecampaign and whichever landing page builder you have. I was working to transfer from activecampaign and thrive themes to infusionsoft. Seemed like a great idea, until the transfer started to take place. We ended up not using or building anything with the software and continued to pay the bill. Once I advised them to cancel it, they said...
Systematic process is great, how the follow works is great also. Easy to use. API's with most everything.
External client solutions. Impossible to cancel. Keap will not cancel you without you speaking directly to your affiliate account manager. People don't follow through with what they say.
