There are better options out there. Pardot, Constant Contact seem easier to use and more powerful and with better support.
It does the job most of the time. It can send to large groups and it can include some dynamic fields.
It seems very b2b focused...so b2c recipients with Gmail or Yahoo addresses get blocked. They seem very worried about getting shut down if they allow users to include emails with a hint of concern. Didn't find ability to personalize subject lines. Pictures are often blocked but that may be an issue caused by our own security protocols.
Hi Kirk! Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. I will share this feedback with the team so we can continue to improve and grow. -Taylor

Ease of use in regards to the templates, getting to see what kind of likelihood of the email being rejected could be.
I like that the templates, overall, are easier to use than Constant Contact. I also like that they check the spam score on your emails before you send them out.
The SalesForce integration is absolutely terrible. It does not work AT ALL. Also, the customer support for it is also absolutely terrible.

Channels my prospects into the appropriate funnels and maintains contact information.
The new version provides all the funnel, automation, landing pages, and auto responders I could ever need with hundreds of customizable templates.
The work flow automation and integration takes some time to learn. It would be nice to have more tutorials on the feature and how it can be integrated into your marketing.

I use GetResponse to communicate with our blog readers and our subscribers - we have a membership website.I can easily send emails with my saved templates to certain group of users, or automate the new blog post email alerts for the interested ones. Also, they organize useful webinars rich of contents to optimize mail marketing performance, completely free.
About this product, i liked the most the way i can create campaigns with automations and manage contact lists. I found very very useful being able to use conditional logic for contact tagging, moving from list to list or choosing which email will be the next a user will receive.
GetResponse doesn't have a working - or at least a mantained - wordpress plugin, so for one not familiar with API is difficult to automate or customize certain operations. Also, there are some limits in the email and form builder in my opinion.
Hi Monica, Thanks for writing a review. We're so glad you're loving the GetResponse platform and our email marketing features! Justyna

A good number of Newsletter templates is a nice feature and simple campaign directions make this a steady client contact service
Picky on who might be added to any contact list. Get Response wants a very low bounce rate which does make sense in the long run

GetResponse is a program that with the exact instructions, you can achieve job stability in the area of Email Marketing. However, I do not recommend using it without studying its functions. Currently it benefits my company, offering the way to supervise the campaigns carried out at all times.
The special thing that GetResponse has, are the constant updates it makes on the platform with the sole purpose of pleasing the customer. Recently added functions such as: monitor campaigns from the mobile device, something that is very important in any company.
The weak point that GetResponse has is customer support, although constant updates are made, the support takes more than 3 days to answer a question, something that is very annoying at all times.

I like a lot his usability, and the contact service, when I had some questions about the HTML editor, they gave me a solution almost immediately.
I didn't like that I have to replace all the gif links in the HTML editor with the new link that gets a response assigned to my images, is very manual and you have to be extra careful because if you delete something the e-mail mess up.

We used it to automatically respond back to contact forms and segment emails. Overall it was quick and easy to setup and smooth to use.
Getresponse does what it says it's going to do and does it well. Quick and easy to setup email newsletters and email automation. Along with landing pages.
Only 500 contacts on the Free plan, but what can you say, its the free plan.
Hi there, Thank you for sharing your feedback on GetResponse. We're delighted that our platform lived up to its promises, offering quick and easy setup for email newsletters, email automation, and landing pages. While we understand the limitation of 500 contacts on the Free plan, we hope it still provided a valuable taste of our services. Should you need further assistance or have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team. We appreciate your support and look forward to continuing to serve you. Hassle free and helpful.
Software is quite easy to use, support is fast and helpful.
There are some annoying restrictions like not being able to update the name on an existing campaign, or update the details of an existing contact.
Hi Beth, Thanks for the review! We passed the information about changing an existing campaign name over to our product team. :) - Abbie

GetResponse helps segment and target customers more efficiently. By keeping landing pages for products and courses connected to email contact database it is quick and easy to create emails for targets groups.
GetResponse does help create emails and landing pages fast. By having the connection between having the email database, email creations, and landing pages it does make it easier to segment contacts and easily keep track of them. For the price, it does offer a basic and easy tool for beginners or those without much design experience to help more easily create.
It can be frustrating using the drag and drop editor and in comparison to other drag and drop editors and it can feel very limited. It gets frustrating when elements do not move as they should and designs do not come out as imagined. It takes some playing around and getting used to in order to use efficiently.

I liked the fact it has the option of paid ads creator as well as tracking everything with analytics & contact management. Its easy to create amazing emails. It has AI powered tools.
Get Response offers a website & landing page builder. Its free to use for the first 30 days. I liked the autoresponder. Get Response has a mobile app.
For me automations are very limited. Its not user friendly. More advanced features are only available for higher paid plans.

Since I switched from Aweber to GetResponse I have seen my productivity and business growth. The autoresponder automation is a breeze in Get Response you can literally draw a map of how your sequence should go. Fantastic for the price
I loved the fact that I was able to get up and running so quickly. You can easily integrate it with other software. Literally with a few clicks of a button.
When I first signed up I had to contact support because it wouldn't load up. This was because my cache needed cleared. Support were very quick to rectify the problem and very helpful.

I have benefited from the use of GetResponse because I have managed to stabilize very well the Emails that I send constantly, in this way, I have been able to immediately contact each client.
I am pleased that GetResponse is a software with a quite innovative design, with colors that really please and give life to the platform, make it much more reliable and secure with respect to the stored data.
I do not like that GetResponse has such high prices, however, I consider that it does not have other errors, it is a very automated software and the only negative detail that I see is that of the high prices it has.

Overall, the experience has been amazing, customer service was also top-notch. Perfect for the type of work I am in and I will prefer this over Mailchimp.
I used this software primarily to record my email list which was generated from a landing page in Clickfunnels. Integration was quite easy and quick. All-in-one software for marketing automation and email marketing. I controlled all my email automation from this one software alone.
The recording of different tags of the email lists from Clickfunnels wasn't accurate. Having multiple trigger points to record contact in Getresponse from an outside landing page was sometimes recording contacts from a different trigger point.

GetResponse helped me better understand email marketing and how to use it to my advantage.
GetResponse automates email marketing and makes the entire process more understandable, it also an easy to understand CRM. Your contact list is automatically organized and contacts are given a ranking based on how much they interact with emails. The landing page templates are easy to personalize and are very functional.
Free or cheaper email marketing software offers the same services, sometimes better services. GetResponse has no free plan. Customer support was basically unavailable and unresponsive.

Over the past 6-7 years I've experimented with most of the major email marketing services (inc. Mailchimp, Aweber, Constant Contact, Sendy, and others) through my consulting work and personal projects at Venture Harbour. GetResponse is by far the tool that I find myself recommending to others the most for a few reasons: - Great pricing (for most list sizes it's the most affordable service) -...

Drag and drop vormgeving van nieuwsbrief is erg fijn.
- Extreme onvriendelijke klantenservice.

I use this software for a blog and educational website. I use it to send out a weekly newsletter and add opt in forms to my blog.
I like that this software is lower in price, but offers many of the same features of the other expensive ones. I like to use the opt-in box features to promote lead magnets on my website. I also like that I can copy the email settings from a previously sent newsletter or autoresponder.
The software feels very difficult to navigate if you have more than one opt-in or lead magnet. I wish there were a way for the software to send an auto responder for a particular opt-in without creating a new contact list. I'm constantly moving my contacts around and it gets cumbersome. There are also a lot of glitches with their drag and drop features on their design side.

Overall I can't say it worked out with GetResponse. We tried to utilize it for more than a year and never got the flow of it. I tried to get help from their customer service but they weren't that helpful. After paying for it for more than a year we had to discontinue and find something else. While I'm sure it has it's merits and is a good overall platform, I can't recommend it from my experience.
My favorite thing about GetResponse is the overall concept of being able to capture cold leads easily. The platform is clean and easy to understand for the most part.
Unfortunately we could never really get the hang using this software. We tried it for about a year but didn't see enough progress to keep using it. We found that other similar types of software was easier and cheaper to use. The thing I like the least is probably how much the price goes up depending on your contact list. I also don't think it's the easiest to use. The customer service also isn't the best.

The support is always available and helpful. The UI is clean and ok to navigate through. (I've seen much worse and much better too though) I think it's a great (and easy to use) alternative to basic ESPs that have far less features for the same price point. If you're just getting started with newsletters and automations, go ahead and trial it at least.
I used to like... no... LOVE that Getresponse was at the cutting edge of e-mail marketing. Not anymore sadly. Automations should be a killer feature but instead, it seems half-baked and not really improved. Contact based ESPs are much easier to work with. It feels like Getresponse switched to serve a different audience looking for an all-in-one tool with pages, e-mails, ads, webinars, chat and abandoned it's initial core offer : a cutting edge email marketing tool at a competitive price. If you're a beginner, then, you will most likely love it's all-in-one offer. If you're a veteran with an existing tech stack and just looking for a new ESP... there are better solutions out there.

When I started my business, I needed a way to digitally manage and track my engagement with potential customers and converted leads. I also needed a way to keep my content subscribers engaged and up to date with new content I was releasing. I decided to take a look at GetResponse and I am very glad I did. What I found was not just a simple email autoresponder, but a complete digital marketing platform....
Pros The Ease of use for this platform is staggering for beginners and for proficient users alike. There are even training guides and videos to help you get up and running quickly. The platform has so many automations that you can set up to automate your onboarding process and you won’t believe how easy it is to set these up. There is a very powerful Workflow Editor that makes setting up a complete...
Cons The smallest plan only allows for a 1000 subscriber list and access to the landing pages. If you grow fast you will need to bump up to the next level which cost more however you also then get access to 5000 subscribers and you get access to do the webinar marketing so it’s not really a negative. You also get access to several other useful features.

The CRM helped us track leads that were falling through cracks, but we have found other solutions outside GetResponse.
The drag & drop CRM feature that connects with automation
Everything else. - To add test addresses for campaigns, you must add them as a sender address to the account. Fortunately, I work for a small company, but for a large company, this is insane. - You cannot use your email address to as a log in to any other account - even if that account has been removed. During the free period, I made several mailings. Everything was ok. Then I bought the most basic package with 1000 subscribers. As an agency, we use Constant Contact for some of our clients, mostly small businesses and nonprofits.
It's not as advanced as Active Campaign or GetResponse, but it's pretty easy to use and it shows high deliverability rates. The email drag-and-drop builder is one of the best I've seen with many templates and design options to choose from.
Constant Contact doesn't give you unlimited storage, so if you're a big business sending a lot of emails, you would have to go and manually delete your files. Constant Contact is also a pretty expensive tool; there is no free plan, and the basic one starts at $20 and goes up when you get more contacts.
