Buffer makes it easy to manage most if not all of your social media channels and push content out to your followers in advance. Our marketing team has saved hours by having buffer as the centralized hub to manage and schedule all of our social content.
The only issue we have noticed is from time to time the Meta Social channels tend to get unlinked but it's understandable as Meta Policies are everchanging and relinking is a breeze.

Its a cost and time saver for Digital Marketing companies and companies who rely on digital marketing
Buffer is a time saver for Digital Marketers, In the past you need to post on every individual social media now buffer changed the whole scenario you post in one platform which can share it on almost all the social media platforms that's mind-blowing. Thanks, Buffer...
The Buffer Reply is the least, since I can't use it much for my current role.

Buffer is a great way to manage multiple accounts in one area. I manage social media for several clients and using Buffer to make sure I'm getting posts out and following up on comments or engagements is a life saver. I've used other options and have come back to Buffer more than once.
I don't use Buffer to monitor possible trends anymore. Although some of their features could be used to stay on top of trends in content marketing or social media marketing, it's just not as efficient as other options.

With the amount of social media management Buffer provides, our marketing team can greatly increase their effort in other aspects of marketing
It only has the most popular social media channels, thus lacking the integration with some more specialised platforms
Hi, Austin, thank you for the awesome review! I'm so glad to hear that Buffer has managed to help make your marketing team be more productive. I hear you about the social media channels. I believe it has been an intentional decision to integrate with the most popular social media channels so that we can best support our customers with our small team. That said, I'll be curious to hear what other platforms you're thinking of. Thanks, Austin. -Alfred

great, because it's free. I wouldn't pay for buffer unless it came with more features.
Easy to use and implement. Basically just connect your social accounts and you can get to it. I prefer it much more to hubspot social, or other platforms I've used like Sprout.
Hard to post videos and it would be nice if you could see all mentions on a feed, like twitter mentions and LinkedIn @'s.

It has made managing social media marketing very efficient.
It is so easy to use and I like that you can post schedule several post at once.
I want to be able to edit the social account. If I post something to an IG account, I want to be able to change my mind to post it to FB instead without having to delete and reload.

automation and streamlining of my social media marketing efforts.
It offers access to most social media platforms and gives me the ability to plan my social media calendar easily and effectively.
None of the available solutions in this demographic fill one's needs 100%. Each has its points, but none are a total perfect fit. Buffer lacks integration with popular content publishing services to pull auto content into scheduled postings. It can be confusing to novices as well.

I think this is a perfect tool for someone looking to just make posts on social media.
Buffer makes it easy to plug in logins and collaborate with a team of social media managers. Useful for people managing social media accounts for multiple businesses.
This is all the software is useful for, social media. It is not the best software for managing other aspects of marketing.

We upgraded to Buffer for the streamlined software and user-friendly experience. It’s one of the best.

• No cons so far. It’s not the cheapest but for good reason.

The time and the thought that the team invests in implementing new features and the ease of use. Buffer is just amazing.

It was fine for what it did, but wasn't enough of a solution for us.
Buffer is great for simpler social media accounts that don't require advanced features and functionality from a Gain or Sprout Social. Price is reasonable.
The lack of features makes the software prohibitive for agencies and marketing leaders that are trying to operate at a high level across several accounts.

Buffer serves as an effective hub and scheduler for all of your social media account. If you're posting across multiple social networks (which you should be doing), it's so much easier to schedule a single post in Buffer for all channels instead of going through all of the sites separately.
Buffer occasionally disconnects from the social media before/after posting. This is probably due to the authentication issues and Buffer does its best to notify you that something is wrong and action is required, but I wish such disconnects were less frequent.

Buffer is awesome. I use it to manage like a dozen social media accounts, both Twitter and Facebook. It's nice because you can have various queues set up for your different accounts, and mark anything that you add to Buffer to go to specific accounts, so you can double dip your content if you want. And then have your content sent out at specific times, with images too. So it lets you "set it and forget it" for at least part of your content marketing. Another awesome thing about Buffer is the integrations. With IFTTT or Zapier, I can connect Buffer to other programs. For example, if I tag an article in Pocket with "startup", the article is automatically added to my queue for my startup related Twitter. Boom, easy way to keep fresh content going out!
Easy to use, fulfills an actual need in my content marketing system, very affordable.
I wish I could put duplicate content in the queue...

It's an affordable tool that can help you with your social media marketing
The post scheduler is great not just because I get to save time but I can see all my scheduled posts at one place.
There is some learning curve if you're a first time user.

I loved the useability of this tool in connecting multiple social media accounts. it provides 3 accounts to link to in the free plan. Helped me a lot in multiple postings across linkedin, twitter and facebook. The extensions provided for browsers is a godsend
The pricing seems a lot for academicians or general public. It is of course meant for marketing professionals, but adding some lower level tiers would help

The tool helps a lot. Buffer is a top suggestion for any marketing specialist.
Buffer is just a heaven for social media specialists. It cuts the time required to schedule everything and makes the overall process much easier.
The only tricky thing here is to change the time zone you are posting for, so you do not miss the time you wanted your posts to air.

Buffer is extremely easy to use, so especially if you're a marketing newbie, this is the tool for you. They even tell which of your updates did great on social (their 'Top tweet' feature) which can give you some hints on the direction of your social media marketing strategy. I also really like how engaged Buffer's staff is in building the marketing community - just take a look at their blog!
I wish they would integrate their other tools such as Pablo better in their main app, so it would be easier to use them.

Used it for a couple of years doing social media and online marketing for web clients.
It's a great scheduler for social media posts and is essential for running online marketing campaigns.
The push to move to a paid version can be a little much, and you don't get a lot of posts for the basic package.

Overall I have had a good experience using Buffer.
I love using Buffer! It is easy, straight forward, and makes my life so much easier.
I don't like how basic the Buffer platform is. There could definitely be more features that would help to source Buffer as the sole social media marketing software.

Great tool for social media marketing. Looking forward to more advanced features in the near future.
Being able to post across various social media sites saved a lot of time, energy, and allowed for collaboration and creativity.
Sometimes integration with another social media platform was not smooth - needed so research and trials. Eventually, it worked out.
