Its very easy to use. I love the preset templates and all the tips theoughout the creation process. My favorite is the extra assistance with Subject lines to help ensure your letters get opened and not sent to Spam.
My own newsletter emails auto filter into my Promotions tab at gmail so I'm sure we lose clicks with other gmail accountholders too.

My overall experience with mailchimp was pretty good I like it better that outlook and gmail, and prefer it to gmail.
What I liked the most about mailchimp was that emails outgoing hit my employees inbox almost instantly. Mail chimps' servers must be turbo charged.
I don't really have any cons about this service.

Mass emailings that Gmail can't handle.
I am able to email members of our congregation with an appealing, professional email design using my colors, graphics and content without a costly subscription. I am able to view analytics on bounced addresses, those wishing to discontinue receiving emails and how many times the email was opened. Very helpful!
I use this software for free. Therefor I am comfortable with the shortcomings of the program as those are available in the paid version. I can live with MailChimp branding in the few emails I send each year.

Overall I love Mailchimp because it's a great solution for my clients who want email marketing and need a simple solution for their businesses.
I like that I can create newsletters easily and integrate it with my WordPress sites. I also like that I can get started for free.
Sometimes I can't use Gmail accounts with Mailchimp. Using a Gmail account causes a delay in sending the campaigns or it goes directly to spam

Fantastic! Still worth it in the long run.
Mailchimp has a clean interface and has an amazing allowance on their free tier - which allows you to build out your audience before you have to start paying.
Sometimes delivery rates aren't the greatest in GMAIL inboxes.

I really love how easy it is to put together an attractive email for my subscribers. I also like the click count feature.
I love Mailchimp the most because I can link the sign up toms to my website. Plus, it's fairly easy to use.
I wish gmail are capable with it. My main email I use for business if a gmail and a lot of my newsletters sent out go directly into spam mail

Easy to use, not many features and so not as many buttons to click around with either!
Not as many features as gmail, not as nice of an interface either; gmail definitely wins in terms of dealing with complexity of emails and having an interface to deal with it

I definitely would use Mailchimp with other email services besides Gmail.
Mailchimp is easy to use and you can integrate it with your email but Gmail will block it from working because they want you to use their Gmass service. Mailchimp I feel works better.
I did not use it long enough to find any fault to it except that I couldnt actually get the most out of it because gmail blocked it from working properly

Communication
This was honestly a really big deal for my past school to consolidate communication to a shared access newsletter to have one consistent weekly newsletter. Mailchimp made that process easy and make a lot of sense.
I guess I think it would be nice if it was embedded right into gmail.

I teach my clients how to create beautiful newsletters and landing pages for their new businesses. I also show them how to integrate it with facebook.
I like that it's easy to use and integrates with most of the plugins that I use for my clients.
Sometimes it gets difficult to use with clients who don't have email outside of Yahoo or Gmail.

Great program if you’re not very good with computers but still want to create beautiful newsletters or ads.
We use mailchimp for creating newsletters for our customers. There are a lot of nice designs and it’s very easy in use. The editor is amazing: you can easily add or change is things. Also the price is very nice.
Overall I am very satisfied with Mailchimp. However, newsletters Sent to Gmail accounts are often marked as “promotional”

I loved how easy it was to send mass emails to different mailing groups. Really expedited the process and helped better organize our cluttered email lists!
Could be better integrated with services like gmail, who offer similar services but are more difficult to use effectively.

Mailchimp helped me move rapidly from the start-up phase of my business to build a growing customer base that expanded with each phase of growth. It's simple enough to use right away, but versatile enough to expand as your business grows. I love it!
Mailchimp gives you a simple way to connect with your customers/audience and communicate your mission
When Mailchimp incorporated into Gmail, I experienced a couple hiccups. However, things smoothed out, and the platform works seamlessly now.

We have used Mailchimp for years, now, to help manage our mass communication (emails) to our adjunct faculty. We have approximately 200 part-time instructors who teach in accelerated, weekly (and online) classes. Trying to manage communication and compliance with that many contingent faculty members is a challenge. We use Mailchimp to help. What I like so much about this tech product is that the emails sent look like they come from the email service as opposed to a mass-generated system. I highly recommend Mailchimp.
When faculty get emails from us, the correspondence looks like it comes from the university's Gmail account.
Like any product, there is a little bit of a learning curve, but nothing that would keep me from recommending it.

Free software, easy to create attractive campaigns to send to clients. Scheduling feature is handy to maximize best times to reach targets. Tracking of progress is also valuable.
Sending from a gmail account has limitations and I wish this could be overcome. Otherwise have been happy with software.

Overall, a budget-friendly option.
I love the unpaid feature for my industry with low income. It's fairly intuitive to use, and the saved templates from previous campaigns are very useful.
Occasionally email addresses from Yahoo or Hotmail (or anything other than Gmail) don't get delivered. It can be a problem

Keeping track off all of our leads for the leasing team.
The Mailchimp software was very easy to learn and teach my team. We use it to keep the contact with interested tenants in our leasing business.
I wish the software would work thur Gmail for response, we do have to manually enter each tenant that is interested.

Drag and drop of email adresses. It keeps private all other users Ive sent the same email to. Pretty nifty to use.
No longer able to use with gmail or icloud email addreses. Only hosts of ones own domain. Still a great tool.

Mailchimp is a quick and rather easy way to set up and send mass emails and newsletters to customers or leads. Good reporting capabilities and a quick sending process.
Often your emails will be ignored by recipients because they'll always go to the Promotions tab (in Gmail). significantly reducing visibility.

This was a free add on into gmail. It's easy to use and to keep track of who has received and opened emails.
Like all free versions, there's the ad on the email. It doesn't sync with outlook so can only be used in gmail online.

Overall my experience using Gmail has been spectacular. The only issues were the ones stated above. I believe it is one of the more high-end email services you can use =.
Easy setup to almost any device Auto safe passwords and no issues backing up data Compatibility for other products such as "MailChimp" is done with ease Interface user friendly
Could have more options in regards to groups and editing tools for business Updates more regularly Customer Service could be a little better in response time and problem resolvement

I could mange my 12 email accounts in one simple app, and my experience since I started using Gmail is wonderful.
I have the ability to manage unlimited Gmail accounts at a time, and they also grant users the ability to send 500 to 2,000 emails per day, all for free at no charge.
I do not recommend Gmail for email marketers who have big email lists, you can go ahead and utilize other email marketing tools like Amazon SES, Mailchimp, AB Bulk Mailer or GetResponse.

My overall experience is great. I'm not interested in using other email providers at this time.
- Search feature allows me to search my email from long ago - Allows me to hyperlink text - Allows me to embed images - Allows me to add files from my Google Drive without having to first download the file to my device or computer then uploading it - It allows me to set up an automatic reply email when the email account receives the email - It groups my email to: Primary, Promotions, Social and Forums -...
- I cannot schedule an email unless I install a plugin - On my Android Gmail app, I wish the app would ask me where do I want to save the file I am trying to download from an email - It doesn't tell me who has opened my email like with MailChimp - I cannot create an email template - the Ads
