Overall it’s a great product.
Useful for making appointments and organizing.
Little bit pricey for everything that it does.

It give a certain amount of free monthly emails which is enough for many peoples purposes that they don't need to pay for any subscription. And it has all the basic features one could ask for in an email marketing platform, these guys have been around for a long time.
Some of the styling looks too generic and square. I would recommend more styling options or skins.

Mailchimp is much more efficient than MadMimi. It is also more cost -effective.
There is a free plan for the occasional sender. In addition, the user interface is very user friendly. Many integrations with other software applications including Square and Shopify.
Limited functionality on mobile devices. For the full experience, use a desktop or laptop computer. In addition, additional features require a pro subscription

This platform helps me to help small businesses grow. You can start off free (and get a lot for free) and grow as your business grows.
I love that MailChimp offers landing page creation! I can connect Square and create event landing pages that look professional and are easy for my clients to update. I also love that they continue to upgrade their platform.
Sometimes text formatting has limits or shows bold text when it's not selected. But that's really the only thing I dislike.

Mailchimp is extremely user friendly, even for those of us who are technologically disadvantaged. I am able to create professional email campaigns with access to an assortment of easy to use templates. I also like how easily it integrates with Square.
Not being well educated in email systems, I probably don't have enough knowledge on which to base any cons.

I like that Mailchimp offers functional templates. I also like that when I add photos that do not necessarily fit, it gives me tips on editing them.
I do not like that I cannot connect my Square store of digital products or services and make them communicate like they do with Mailchimp. I do not like that it is difficult to create segments and groups that makes sense.

I use Mailchimp as an inexpensive option of capturing leads and form information for bookings, appointments, and signups. It's good with its free plan to do that and the paid plans aren't that bad either.
If it's one thing I like about MailChimp, is the simple wizard process to get things done. And if you have an issue with getting something completed, say a broadcast or email segmenting, there is a quick instructional writeup for that.
Its a bit restrictive in what you can do. If you try to do anything outside what its normally set up to do, you would need to do a lot of workarounds which is not evident in some other mailing programs.

I like that Mail Chimp sends out multiple emails to your list for free. It's easy to enter names and email address into the system and to enter text.
Sometimes it gets confusing to add photos because they have to be certain sizes and is not as easy as the square marketing letters but that isn't free so I'll keep using Mail Chimp. Just wish it was a little more user friendly in adding text and pictures.

I am enthusiastic about my experience with this software for my business- communication with clients is key to a profitable business. I am continuing to experiment with e-mail drip campaigns using this software.
I like the templates, the automatic email solutions, and just how functional the layout/dashboard is. I have sent clients monthly emails through this for about 4 years and have been very pleased with the results- new clients, clients booking appointments, and more.
I think more could be done to make sure that my emails do not end up in spam.

MailChimp plays a huge role in our company as we use it every day for almost everything. I have been using it for 2 years now and think it is a wonderful product. It does what it tell you it can do and their customer support is really good.
MailChimp is an all in one tool for just about everything you need in marketing. It helps with anything from Facebook ads, to email, to landing pages for your websites. It can be connected with other programs like Salesforce, Square, Shopify, and so much more. It can also automate things to make your job that much easier. Put all these together and you have a product that can help you boost your production a great deal.
The only thing that would be a negative about MailChimp is that at the start it is a little confusing to use. But there are many videos online or you can simply chat with MailChimp themselves to help you get started.

eager to expand the functions to related usage scenarios, but not integrated well enough.
Powerful templates for efficient and shining email content building. The clear statistic in customer response activities for best analysis the customers' feedback. Easily build and manage the contacts by importing, uploading many format files. Clear workflow and useful tools support. eCommerce features make your store and website easy to contact and communicate with customers, including making appointments. The content management is good for basic usage and editing, with plenty of resources, even in a free plan.
Some editorial functions need optimization, such as material management, user interface optimization. The resources in the content studio are not well managed in terms of resolution and size, sometimes I use a photo, image or giphy in my page design, the system said it is not size compatible. When I edit the pages for campaign mail, after select some pics from the library, it is hard to get the next insert selection to follow up.

Mailchimp makes it easy to create email marketing campaigns. Not only that, but there are a lot of other features you can use such as Facebook & Instagram marketing, remarketing, and even postcards. There are a lot of integrations as well so you can connect Eventbrite, Salesforce, Shopify, Square, WooCommerce & more! If you're just starting out they have a basic free plan that you can use to start out with. They have a lot of templates too which you can use to easily create email campaigns. I use their iPad app to subscribe new people and automatically add them to certain email groups.
My only wish was that Mailchimp integrated with our ERP software (Macola).
