The customer support is good and very comprehensive. Since we want to adopt a medium/basic level monitoring tool, we decided to move forward with another one. If it is very important to listen to social and track branding, you can feel confident.

The scope of channels you can "listen to" is pretty impressive, sometimes even too much with a lot of noise and things you don't really care about. If the filtering options can be better to get rid more easily of this noise, the rest of the tool is pretty easy to use and straightforward, especially when it comes to the additional functionalities that are analytics or social media management.

Product direction is obviously trying to take Mention to the next level with a broader usage of the social media management and analytics capacities, and while they are not there yet, it's still full of promise.

I'm sure it's somewhere in the help section... but the speed of the tracking and notification and the fact that the system does't read some news sources or reads them but only when certain conditions are met, are two things that a scared and panicked client because of its reputation issues needs.

The format of downloaded mentions in the PDF report looked weird and wasn't super user friendly.

AI tools are also a very good support to understand a very broad conversation, it is easy to use, which for more advanced users also represents a drawback because there are not many options to segment the conversation in a more specific way.

It’s especially useful for identifying trends, measuring brand awareness, and reacting to feedback.

I really like how easy it is to track mentions across the web and social media, and the sentiment analysis and influencer insights are super helpful.
