We use SFMC for so many things, but email automations, journey builder, data extensions, content builder are just a few we use daily to make our processes easier. I can set up these items for emails that need to go out far in advance. It has revoluntionized our marketing.
No cons, we love Salesforce Marketing Cloud so much!

- It is an excellent piece of software for social media marketing, lead generating, email management, and efficient email generation.- It's convenient because it's a one-stop shop. I have access to all I require to succeed in my current environment.
There is no negative feedback or downside for this software. It helped us a lot in many things like content management, email marketing, social media marketing, etc. Excellent Tool!

Rather than using a standard marketing automation tool, we switched to Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Besides its powerful automation feature, it is also tightly integrated with Salesforce CRM. Sending personalized marketing campaigns is breeze with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
To segment the data, Working knowledge of SQL is required. Integration of GTM and API's is heavily reliant on tech team.

Positive. Salesforce Marketing Cloud is and will be the cornerstone of our marketing plans going forward.
Data extensions and their flexibility. Do you want to create a list of subscribers from a landing page? Want to upload an email list from an external source? Want to create a catalog of your ecommerce products and call those in on a Cloudpage? Data extensions solve it all.
Layout clarity and user experience. It has gotten better, but integral functionality is still hidden in different buckets so that it's hard to find from the SFMC homepage.

My overall experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud has been satisfactory. Suits all of my marketing management needs.
What do I like most about this software? EVERYTHING! The platform allows you to manage multiple things in an organized and clear manner. Highly recommended for developing marketing plans, achieving marketing goals, and managing teams.
It will require some sort of training, whether through your company or from training courses online to fully understand how everything works. It’s possible to learn on your own, however you will definitely catch useful things in a training course.

For me Salesforce Marketing Cloud has wide range of features and capabilities, including:Email Marketing: enables businesses to create, send, and track email campaigns.Mobile Marketing: enables businesses to create and send SMS and push notifications to customers.Social Media Marketing: enables businesses to manage social media accounts, publish content, and engage with customers.Advertising: enables businesses to create and manage advertising campaigns across multiple channels, including social media, search engines, and display networks.So in a nutshell it has all the bells and whistles, i need for my business.
For this Salesforce Marketing Cloud product, here are just some of the some issues i and a few others have. Support was unable to address product gaps, product was cumbersome and never well received by any of our team, and constantly performed slowly.
Can't say I particularly liked anything about Salesforce marketing cloud other than the fact it somewhat integrates with an existing Salesforce instance.
Unfortunately, the product is a solution that really only makes sense if you have an existing dependency on Salesforce. In terms of using marketing cloud for marketing communication, or any kind of communication, it really falls short. The product is very complicated when compared to competitors that cost less and offer more seamless functionality. We ended up switching to another product because the product had a huge learning curve and required work around to perform pretty basic tasks. There are 4-6 steps to accomplish what other products do in half the steps.

Saleforce Marketing Cloud is a marketing automation leader in the market. One best thing about salesforce marketing cloud is that it has all features of automating all your marketing campaigns for Email, SMS, Direct mail and push notification.
My overall experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is really great, because it is user friendly and easy to use marketing automation platform available in the market and with the help of it I am able to create Email campaigns, SMS campaigns, Direct mail campaigns and push notification campaigns. We also have purchased its Email studio, SMS studio and Push studio license.
I do not have any dislike for this platform.

I would recommend any company seeking a marketing solution check this one out and consider not only where the company is now with marketing, but where their company would like to be in the next year and 5-10 years and base decisions on that. Upfront costs for these lesser solutions may be appealing at first, but it doesn't take long to realize the short comings of such applications and that the money could have been spent more wisely on something as polished and robust as the Salesforce Marketing Cloud solution.
Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a very robust marketing system that solves all manner of marketing needs from the simple mailings to complex customer journeys and marketing campaigns.
The biggest negative I have with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is the price. Companies often feel their marketing needs are not to the level that this application can provide and struggle to justify the cost. Unfortunately, this causes companies to go with a lesser solution because upfront costs appear to be less, even though in the long run they end up costing more.

My experience is positive overall. Once you get over the sticker shock you find the most comprehensive and capable CRM available.
The customization SalesForce Marketing cloud offers is incredible. The features and capabilities are second to none.
The cost is a problem, especially considered the unseen cost of contracting 3rd party developers to help you get the most out of the product.

The insights Pardot provides to the Sales team is great. Automating prospecting and follow up that traditionally the Sales team would be responsible at the top of the funnel helps free up time for your team to focus on closing deals.
Pardot is a robust marketing tool and its integration with the sales cloud functionality of Salesforce make this the best Marketing Automation tool for companies using Salesforce CRM.
The functionality is not quite as robust as Marketo or Eloqua. While its improving all the time make sure to vet out that it has the features you need.

Pardot did what we needed it to do and not much more. We were happy with the product.
Pardot and Salesforce Sales Cloud work really well together and it seems like Salesforce is starting to invest more resources into the product which mean more added features like those in Marketing Cloud.
It's definitely behind in terms of feature set. The campaign flows are pretty basic and there's not much ability to customize or AB test email flows.
