It is not very efficient in terms of how many clicks it takes to do certain tasks, and it could be updated to not feel like something from 1998

In three years, I think I talked to one person who knew anything about accounting.   And don't get me started on pricing - a 25% increase after the initial contract, which was supposed to convert to an annual fee, but they are claiming it's a 3-year.

The tutorials and modules are very helpful for making the most of the product.

It is not hard to use once you learn but the software is not the most intuitive so you have to learn as opposed to just jumping it in and things being easy to figure out naturally.

They are still developing their web view version which is primarily what I use, but their database version has all of the features and can do so much.

I did not like the level of customer level support that was provided when requiring answers to technical questions, and the timliness of response was not always the grestest.

This lacks integration with other marketing platforms. Once you are locked in, you are very locked it.

Just in our artistic specialization in New York, I estimate that $2 million per year of donations and ticket sales could be processed through Givebutter if it had those features. If any other company sent us automatic emails after someone made a donation or bought a ticket and had adequately professional forms, we would stop using Givebutter and switch services immediately.

We have multiple fundraisers and they all transfer as “Givebutter”.   If we could make it say “Givebutter basketball” or even a few letters so the person doing bank reconciliation knows which of the 5 Givebutter sub accounts the transfer came from.

So far, Givebutter has streamlined our fundraising by having our CRM, campaign pages, and real-time donation tracking in one place.

The lack of ability to sell tickets through the app or for patrons to be able to select seats from a seating chart makes the "Event" function of Givebutter far less useful than it could be for us.

Additionally, there are some features I would love to have that GB doesn't offer, like grant management and a true ticketing platform with reserved seating and bulk ticket purchasing discounts.
