What is Church Social?

Church Social is a cloud-based church management solution which allows church members to share resources, perform administrative tasks, and communicate online. The software enables the management of members, wards and districts, sermons, files, libraries, calendars, events and schedules, groups, mailing lists, reports, and more.

Church Social provides all church members with their own private account to access the software. Member details are stored in the searchable directory, including photos, anniversaries and birthdays, contact information, and ward information. Members can upload their own photos and submit correction requests if they spot a mistake. The role-based permission system allows users to control which members can access specific tools. The calendar displays all upcoming events, such as bible studies, fundraising events, birthdays and anniversaries, and youth conferences, and all members can contribute events to the calendar. Events marked as public can also be displayed automatically on church websites through the calendar plugin.

Church Social offers a files section for storing and managing members-only documents, including meeting minutes, policy documents, church logo files, and more. Audio and video of sermons can be uploaded to create a sermon archive, which can also be shared on the church website. Librarians can also use Church Social to make the church’s library catalog available for members to search and browse online. Church Social also provides a range of other features, including the ability embed service live streams within the application.
