Our needs are fairly straightforward and Donation allows for easy multiple donation entries for a given day. Also, the support has been great.

Best thing about DONATION is customer service. Dan (the owner programmer and only employee of the company) is always there when you need him and will stick with you until your issue is solved.

Charitable receipts and reports are easy to generate. Product is perfect for our small charity with limited human resources.

The product is has great integration for letters and emails.

Even past years were available if needed to reprint receipts. The only downside relates to the set up of categories (for our various cause collections) which we had to do a couple of times.

I tried a few programs early on in my time as treasurer (which is 17 years now), including Quickbooks and Donarius. I found Donation much easier to use than Donarius.

If there is no way of being able to do this quicker I may change my format for 2010. Right now I am entering the amounts by envelope number and record on my spreadsheet  alphabetically.

I do however struggle a little looking for the correct reports I require. Mainly because I use them so infrequently and forget were to look.

It will print out your receipts, thank you letters, and year-end tax statements for your donors. The learning curve is very short in all areas but one.

Sending out Donor receipts and year end statements is less time consuming. Having the proper IRS statement for charitable deductions is a critical step for Donors.

This program is really meant for tracking donations only. It's not meant to be a complete CRM system, so some folks may find it limited in that regard.

Network for Good's donor database software is very reasonably priced, reliable, intuitive, and easy to navigate. Reports are very easy to create, functional, and nicely formatted.

The software is intuitive, but if I ever need help, the customer service is superior. Someone is always available almost immediately.

If I had one complaint it's that the one-on-one training sessions are 30 minutes rather than 45 or 60 minutes.

Reasons we selected the software were it automatically generates a receipt to donors that donate online; it was easy to set up; and the cost was reasonable.
