The support has always been outstanding -- every individual I've worked with is friendly and super helpful. And the crowdsourced support (online) gets good answers to your questions too.

There is no alert given if there is a problem on a background check. There is no way to indicate family relationships such as grandmother, siblings, nieces, nephew, etc.

We previously used Shelby V.  Both products have a great deal of advantages in our congregational needs. ShelbyNext seems to be more user friendly that Shelby V.

Robust functionality combined with security makes us look good and gives us peace-of-mind at the same time. Also, ShelbyNext listens to their user-base and continuously improves the product.

It's a really solid product overall. The best features are it's ability to easily enter, edit, combine or delete member records.

I love the ease of making workflows to send automatic emails. I also like the layout and user interface.

Outsourced Bookkeeper

No back arrow to look at the previous transaction entered. If you are entering a list of manual checks and need to add a vendor all of the previous info entered (date, check number etc) is lost.

The integration between Membership and Financials helps to reduce work and the common errors of entering data. I can't say enough, thank you all for doing such a great job.

I also like the way it helps to mainstream our ministry workflow, by providing a variety of tools that integrate between ministries and departments.

It’s fairly costly and takes a long time to get up and running. It’s broken into different windows.

The way a SMS message in Mass Contact does not send as a full message but instead delivers as several out-of-order text with words broken up in odd locations.

It also appears that they are still working out a lot of glitches and it’s very frustrating when you depend on a software and it doesn’t work properly at least 99% of the time.

Requires multiple logins, slow to implement new features, lags behind competition.

Overall I am satisfied with ShelbyNext and the customer support is always available to assist us when we get in over our heads.

This software allows us to move through our multi-step financial approval process efficiently. It allows us to track expenses and budgets easily while providing detailed reporting features.

Child Checkin has been a nightmare getting the software to work with the printer. Also, mobile checkin for attendees is so cumbersome to use, no one will use it, especially our older folks.
