It is very expensive compared to other programs and they lock you into multi-year contracts that you cannot get out of.  

None of the custom reports we created in V5 came over to ShelbyNext.  

The Shelby Financials is very difficult and time consuming to use it actually caused a Bookkeeper to quit.  

The upgrade from Shelby V5 to ShelbyNext did not go well.  

This is meant more for very large churches.

I think this is true of any system that needs to appease many churches: different churches need slightly different things.  

Particularly when it comes to volunteer scheduling and similar.

I think some new features are not thoroughly tested as they should be.

The software does great out-of-the-box, but can be customized to do all sorts of other things.  

Also, the customer support is outstanding, and new development clearly reflects actual church needs.  

In these years, I feel like I've gotten to know many of the TouchPoint staff folks, and they are truly partners in our ministry.  

It is robust and extremely capable as well as very versatile and adaptable.
