I think this is true of any system that needs to appease many churches: different churches need slightly different things.  

Particularly when it comes to volunteer scheduling and similar.

I think some new features are not thoroughly tested as they should be.

The software does great out-of-the-box, but can be customized to do all sorts of other things.  

Also, the customer support is outstanding, and new development clearly reflects actual church needs.  

In these years, I feel like I've gotten to know many of the TouchPoint staff folks, and they are truly partners in our ministry.  

It is robust and extremely capable as well as very versatile and adaptable.

User info can’t be linked to any external database (i.e. giving, account info, user notes, etc), so you have to run everything through them (which currently is not robust enough of a ChMS).

I know that there are many companies that do that and we are technically paying more now than we were with Subsplash. With Subsplash though there was no trial periods or no option to drop a service if you found you weren't using it. If you signed up for it you were stuck with it whether or not it fit your ministry.

Subsplash comes with a hefty price tag that is a large investment for churches. And while most of the features are what churches need, some will find limitations on the platform such as tweaking the app and website to look exactly like you want.

One of the main things I did not like about Subsplash was their tendency to charge for every small add on.

Subsplash is very easy to implement and train the users on basic operations, whether for one-time giving or recurring.

However we are constantly told to take pictures and record the glitches.  

Overall, we liked working with Subsplash and we are still using it for our website and media management.

The app is simple, and perhaps isn't completely necessary for every church.  

No login is required to use the app, and I find this very freeing.

Uploading media and information is simple, and it's seamlessly added throughout the platform, from the app to the website.

We have yet to see a decrease in our fees after years of use.

I love receiving notifications of my anticipated giving so that I can make sure the funds have been properly deposited before withdrawal.
