Simplycity and reliability. In the past we used paper logbooks that really made our reception desk look antiquate and the registration porcess was slow and unreliable. The i-pad and the software have greatly upgraded the reception of our guests.
When we installed the system we also added the printer for the badges, but the cost of the supplies and the overall speed and quality could be improved.

We used 4 different visiting books. Now there are just two iPads at the reception.
Cloud based. It just works Very fast to update changes. Very sleek design. Guest list is accessible on the website so it's useful for fire safety evacuations etc.

This tool has been a welcome blessing to our organization. Our reception team loves it, our employees love it, and visitors always complement on how great the tool is.
I love that this tool allows everyone to be in the loop on when visitors have checked in. Whether you use the app, get emails, or other ways of notifications, you'll also be in the loop on when someone is there to see you. It also allows you to keep track of everyone onsite. From a security perspective, everyone is badged, and we know how visitors are by seeing the badge. It allows us to push out information meeting (e.g. WIFI, a map, other pertinent info) before a visitor even steps on site.
There's not much I dislike about the software. If I had to pick one thing it's that there's not enough security integrations with vendors at this time. They are slowly working on that though, so it should become less of an issue in the future.

Easy to use , simple and fast.
It's easy to use and user-friendly. It really helps with scheduling meetings with external individuals and synchs up to our Check-in iPads and the Reception team. It's an awesome tool that every company should have.

We can now track all visitors that come to the office. It is truly great with the built in NDA feature. We no longer have to have printed copies in the reception.
The user experience is unparalleled. It instantly gives out a sleek professional impression on all guests that visit our office.
The price is quite hefty. Would be great with more automisation features.

Envoy makes the work of running a reception desk easier - notifications for hosts are automatic, visitor logs are created, and NDAs are signed. This software took care of many pain points for us.
Good value, easy to implement, easy adoption. We have been pleased that any bumps we've had have been quickly addressed by customer success.
N/A - Software definitely does the job, however we don't have a complicated use case.

I like that I was able to deploy this solution and have printed badges all in about an hours time. The ease of install and use is great. For a product I had never seen, being able to go from purchase to installed in about an hours time is just unheard of in the IT world. This has made it far easier for our reception personnel to know who is supposed to be visiting, when and who they are here to see. Historically, people would arrive and reception may not have been notified so there was some confusion. Also the NDA being signed electronically during registration has been great.

I love getting an email alert if I have a package that has been delivered. The alert is very clean and easy to read. I love the reminders of picking up a package too!
I cannot think of any cons. My only con is that the reception desk at my work needs to use it more! I wish there was a way for the system to be alerted once you pick up a package as opposed to me having to submit it via the email

It solves the problem that exists but you didn't know that technology can solv. That's innovation!
Are you working in bussy office? Do you have problem with a lot o packages and gust at the reception? This software is exctly for you. I believe that all HR copanies should have software like this. It will great your guest and connect him with right employee. Additionaly it can help you automatically manage deliveries comming to your office.
At this moment not all locall (no-US) deliveries are supported.

One key issue was having a receptionist at the front desk to welcome our guests. visitors and then notifying our staff that there was a guest waiting for them. Now with Envoy, we never miss a guest or visitor and our staff is quickly notified via email that there is a guest in the reception area waiting for them.
Using Envoy in our office has made checking guests and visitor a no brainer. We no longer need to have a receptionist at the front desk to welcome guests, Envoy is our go to partner. Using Envoy insures us that all guests , visitors are being helped and our clients are being notified in a quick email or text that they have a guest waiting for them in the reception area. Envoy has made our office more efficient and modern.
The only con I can think of is the customer service, it was difficult to get hold of our rep after several emails and calls to setup our service from a free trial, we almost decided against using Envoy but I so glad we didn't give up.

The front desk. The place that not only makes your businesses first impression on the client/guest, but shows your intentions as a company. You can define yourself in the lobby/waiting area with simple things, art on the walls, the carpet, the furniture. But that is all a waste of time if your visitor greeting process is leaving something to be desired it can lower the visitors expectations dramatically. Envoy leaves nothing to be desired. Seamlessly integrated into our reception team its features are first class. Not only does it make the job of our team on reception easier, with features like pre registered guests, NDA signing and much more, these features show the customer that we are welcoming them in and greet them appropriately. Its brilliant.

The stress of having multiple visitors, delivery vendors, ringing telephones and employees at reception with questions all at the same time was lessened, it didn't disappear; it just took one thing off the multi-tasking plate required to do the job well. I was able to quickly see at a glance what visitors were in the building. Following up with employees to collect their visitors was easier.
Having been a Corporate Receptionist at other companies I have found this product to make the task of registering visitors unbelievably helpful. Visitors enter their own name into a system which then prints the badge and automatically notifies the employees. No more complaints about having misspelled a name or not notified an employee. We also use the photo function which makes it very easy for our employees to identify their visitor when collecting them from reception. Our clients are also impressed with our high tech sign in process.
The software itself leaves little to be desired. It has been well thought out. Our issues have been with employees not receiving the notification emails in their inbox. The junk filter on email software will place the email in junk or spam folder. Clearly explaining this issue to employees would save some frustration.

I must say, that for a small business / office, we have wowed clients and visitors from multi-nationals whenever they arrive at the receptionist area and sign-in via the iPad terminal using Envoy. Back track a little, one of my favorites features is the ability to pre-register your visitors. This, depends on the setup of your IT, sends an email and calendar invite to your visitor. This email can include...
If your office has multiple entrance/exit points, note that Envoy will treat it as having multiple locations, hence additional payment. Well, technically it's just the same office. But you can just create a sign-in field to indicate which entrance/exit they are in (just so you get to distinguish it when crunching the visitor data).

The Envoy system is simple and easy to use. Our organisation has customised the sign in fields to create a fast and efficient way to ensure we are up to date with the visitors on or premises. We have been able to eliminate bulky sign in visitor and contractor registers at our Reception desk, having been replaced with a slimline Ipad with a customised logo. The Envoy system has saved time when regular visitors and contractors arrive as they are able to use the 'been here before' tab and the system recognises their details.

In a large office it can be hard to find the host. Envoy makes it easy to let the host know their guest has arrived so reception doesn't have to run around the office looking for them. It is very easy to set up and use. I haven't had to connect with customer service on very much, but when I did, they swiftly solved my issue. The more my office grows, the more feature I have turned on, like the NDA at sign in. The picture feature and printed badges add another layer of security. Love the product and would highly recommend it other companies!

Envoy is the wave of the future for Reception. She is my virtual assistant. I am no longer subject to office hours and our visitors check-in schedule. I am free to move about the office, run errands and concentrate on other, more important parts of my job. Guests checking in have the option to input their name and other details which helps track and record visitor info. The check-in notification is instantly sent to the host with integrations including text and Slack. While it helps streamline the check-in process, the biggest benefit is to those front desk admins who are virtually chained to the front desk. It'll have you chanting "I'm free, I'm free!" I know I did :)
Only issue we've run into is with deliveries from FedEx or UPS that need a signature. It would be great if there was an option to virtually sign for packages...maybe one day!

Impressed. Yes, this is how my office visitors are with the experience with Envoy Visitors. Life is made simple for them and for me. I pre-register my list of visitors, then an instructive email/welcome/parking guide is sent to them with an accompanying calendar invite to block off the schedule. They arrive at the reception area without the need to type in their details since I already pre-registered them, and they come in without any hassles. As they are signed-in, I am notified via Slack, SMS, and email and so I know when they'ved arrived. I have a whole history of the people who visited me which is great. The entire workflow is just seamless and facilitates the visit.
Right now, it only works with iPads... It would be great if they open up to Android as well?

Managing a busy reception desk is no easy feat, but Envoy's Visitor Registration app does more than its fair share to help with that. The app itself is so simple for visitors to use, and the administrator portal is neat, clean, and generates statistics that have been helpful in pulling together reports. The automatic notifications to hosts through email, text message and Slack, as well as the ability to notify both hosts and their assistancts facilitate visitor welcoming immensely. What takes this product above and beyond, though, is the incredible assistance I have gotten from the Envoy Support team for the few and minor hiccups I have experienced in my 1.5 years using the product. The Envoy team is doing great things; I can't wait to see what's next!
