I wish I could remove the options in the gage descriptions we do not as a company want to use, such as specific manufactures, Aquisition dates, cost, ect.

I love that your pricing is based off the number of gages we have instead of having to pay a very expensive fee regardless if we have 10 gages or 1000.

It also allows us to have multiple people have access from their own computer, or phone.

I still have to evaluate the calibrations coming due soon, then email the pertinent people to get those calibrations done.

We have not encountered a con of the system besides it being cloud-based and being an annual subscription which is more of a preference than a con.

Notifications, and at a glance view, this helps to see the equipment and tools easily.

Controller

The interface is somewhat confusing and the flexibility of the on-screen display is limited.

we recently had a ransomware interruption and we lost all of our inhouse data, the benefit of having an offsite data base is very beneficial. once you start using GageList it is a little overwhelming, but it gets much easier as you get accustom to all of the resources it has.

One of the biggest pros about Gagelist is that I can access it from any computer.

We have enjoyed using GageList and all the features it provides for such a low cost of ownership.

When comparing with other Calibration Management Systems, I liked the pricing, cloud-based storage, and ability to be utilized by multiple personnel.

There is no more need for a single computer or station to have all of this data.

For instance, in my company we have fixtures, that are connected to specific programs, each fixture has its own tool(s).

The ease of using it on the floor with a phone or tablet.

The product is easy to use and has a great deal of built in functionality.  

It gets me through the challenge of lacking sufficient licensing to more expensive software, which is my company's current struggle.

The software should a TB limits not GB limits.

Overall the software is not a bad choice for small to medium calibration problems.

GageList has made calibration management very simple.

There are things that could flow a little easier, or be more instinctual to access.

I simply utilized other fields for the values I needed.

I like the fact I can send email alerts to my teammates well in advance that a tool will be coming up due for calibration again.

It would be nice if the Excel import function could simultaneously update the accepted values in those fields.   As it is now (unless i don't understand it right) one must manually add the possible entries for those fields before importing the gages from a spreadsheet.

I imported about 150 devices from a different software in about 10 minutes.

Not charging by the user has allowed us to distribute the data entry across the shop floor and keep accountability with the tool users.

It has also allowed us to keep closer tabs on where our tools are located at any given time.

I would prefer that when viewing items by column header filtering, only those items fitting the filter criteria would be displayed.

The software also has custom settings offerings so you can tailor the look to your business.

I like that each gauge can be designated a specific area so I know right were to go when it is up for calibration.

Gobal Product Support / Quality Manager

The Cal-Record does not except files about 18MB, bad if the system allows <50MB.

It's nice that there are drop down menus for certain sections that you can also add to for customization.
