For what it's worth, I have a pretty good base-understanding of access control systems (as in, I can create a group, user, pull some reporting, etc).

This system is a pain to setup, control, manage and troubleshoot

I would rather have a key and an intercom.

Going from the "Card Bank" to the directory  to input a person's name and card information, there are too many steps.  

It should be an easier way to delete their information out of the system with out going back and forth  between the card bank and the directory.

We can limit their access when necessary or lock out building access in emergencies.
