PALMS is a smart warehouse management system that provides enterprise level solutions across various industry verticals like Manufacturing, Automobile, Auto Spare-parts, 3PL, FMCG, Retail, and Agriculture.

Built on Microsoft .NET platform, PALMS offers web application that can be accessed from all browsers. Apart from Web Application, it also offers windows and android based HHT application with workflow environment for picking and putaway instructions that helps the warehouse manage its manpower and machines to the optimal level. With its high level algorithms, the application allows the users to automate the processes by letting them define putaway and picking strategies. The complex location suggestion algorithms help the users by auto suggesting locations for putaway. The system provides a comprehensive view over the warehouse helping its customers with better space utilization. Apart from the regular operations and inventory management, the system also provides additional functions such as 3PL Billing, Replenishment, Forecasting, Labelling, Kitting, Cross Dock operations, Resource management, Yard management, PO Management, Pricing and Taxation related features. In order to help the users with the operational issues, PALMS also has a dedicated support portal which is accessible to its users around the year.

The system also offers 150+ reports which helps in analysing the warehouse operations. The reports also support Barcode and QR code scanning there by helping in warehouse operations such as picking and putaway.

The customisable interface architecture in PALMS allows it to interact with various ERP system including Oracle eBS, SAP, MS Navision, MS Dynamics, Falcon, Vigil, JDE etc. This helps the system process the data in real time. Adding to its flexibility, PALMS is capable of interacting with other systems via CSV files, Rest APIs and Staging tables.

The CSV interfacing between the software is achieved over FTP Data exchange. This is achieved by having a common accessible network folder for PALMS and an external system to interact. The respective systems prepare the data in a specified format and move the files to the common network folder. A file watcher service keeps an eye on new files that are moved to the network folder and picks it up for processing.

As an alternative to CSV files, PALMS is also flexible to integrate with external systems via staging tables. This is achieved by having staging tables on an independent database from PALMS which can be accessed by an external software to exchange data. Similarly, for outbound flow, PALMS uses the exposed staging tables from the external system for the data flow.

The third method of interfacing that PALMS offers is via Rest API. In this method, the web services of the respective systems are exposed. These exposed web services are called through APIs in a specified format from the other system which are directly picked up for processing
