What is Profituity?
Profituity is a web-based payment processing solution which enables subscription-based businesses to offer ACH as a payment option to their customers. With tools for automating recurring ACH payments, processing e-checks, representment, and verification, Profituity aims to simplify payment processing for businesses and automate daily processes.
In order to facilitate easy web-based payment processing, Profituity provides batch upload of debits and credits and data synchronization with existing accounting or billing software. Once data is uploaded, ACH payments are processed in just a few minutes, and recurring payments can be automated. With Profituity users can convert paper checks into e-checks, which are then automatically processed through the ACH network, for added security and traceability. Users can track the status of payments and reimbursements, and notifications can be set up to alert users when payments are complete or bounce.
In the event that ACH payments or e-checks bounce due to insufficient funds in the client account, Profituity automatically resubmits the request up to an additional 2 times using the SmartDates technology to identify the optimal time for a re-attempt.
